Introduction

Parts of the Keyboard
A computer keyboard has different sections:
1. Alphabet Keys
Used for typing letters A–Z.
2. Number Keys
Used for typing numbers 0–9.
3. Function Keys
Keys F1–F12 perform special computer functions.
4. Arrow Keys
Used for moving the cursor around the screen.
5. Special Keys

Spacebar

Home Row Keys
The home row keys are the basic finger resting positions on the keyboard.
Left Hand
A, S, D, F
Right Hand
J, K, L, ;
Fingers should always return to the home row after typing.
