I realise that rushing to write books, is not just how it's done.

I see many KDP gurus with little numbers of books, pulling out crazy figures. One is my immediate Boss, with as little as 9 books on his KDP account, he pulls a chunk from KDP.

He tells me: "Take your time to write a good book, make your research and check Ur competition, watch the market, and then, launch your book. Make good use of all the promotional tools provided by Amazon".

No need to rush to publish many books, that you, yourself would be doubting.

And most importantly, write in the language of your customers.

Verily, verily i say unto you brethren, If you want to make money selling your books on amazon, you have to put on the seller's hat most of the time even more than you put on the writer's hat. To paraphrase it, "You are a seller and not a writer” there are way too many writers out there but little sellers. the word is bestseller not best writer.

There's this particular fabric, which had this amazing pattern that everyone who laid eyes on it, just had to fall in love with it... The fabric was just readily affordable and so, it was easily paid for. This fabric kept selling for a long time.

Along the line, something happened, and almost everyone had this fabric in their hands, and it began to loose its' beauty in the eyes of those that looked at it.

The wise manufacturers began to realise that, if this goes on a little while, their beautiful fabric, would be out of the market, so, here is the little they did: The added just a new stitch to the pattern, which made it more attractive, and they got it back into the market, but this time, at very regulated pieces.

Customers began looking hard to find this fabric, especially fashion designers, who bore the most stress, as orders kept coming from customers for this particular fabric.

The fabric became hard to find, and when it was found, the cost was way higher, but the demand was still there. The value of the fabric appreciated, and when seen in the latter days wearing that fabric, everyone says: That is a boss passing there. His fabric is too much.

This isn't about the fabric.

The mistake many of our young men do, talking specifically about young vibrant entrepreneurs who start very well, is:

They begin to spend money carelessly to impress friends, girls, and people who are just passing by.

As a young man, growing, your utmost attention should be on you, investing in yourself. If you fail to invest in yourself and start impressing people, here is just a simple think that is likely to happen: Opportunities you would have made good use of, you wouldn't and then, when you eventually go broke, here is the truth: Those same persons you thought you were helping, or impressing, you'll realise, they were just using you to pass a good time.

Always remember this: Success is an individual race, but a conglomerated celebration.
