Still on my birthday muse about the lessons I have learnt in life's journey.

I have observed the desire and need of many people to have doors of opportunity opened for them. Yet, they often neglect to build the capacity needed to take advantage of those opportunities. This realization prompted me early on to recognize the importance of building capacity – developing my abilities before seeking opportunities.

Two scriptural references come to mind: Deuteronomy 2:2-3 and Isaiah 54:2-3. Each time I read these passages, I am reminded of the necessity of building capacity at every stage of life. Nothing expands unless we first develop the capacity for it. Before any opportunity shows up, it is essential to prepare for whatever that opportunity may be. This is what building capacity implies.

The irony is that many Christians claim these promises without putting in the necessary work. What they fail to realize is that these promises will not be fulfilled unless they work towards them. God is not a wasteful steward of His resources; He provides His resources only to those who will prudently and wisely utilize them.

This brings me to my long-time muse: “The future you don’t prepare for never becomes reality; it is only fussed up in a mirage.” One of the biggest mistakes a person can make is to think they will effortlessly stroll into a future without preparation. Not at all, it doesn’t work that way.

Every success and peak performance we achieve in life requires significant preparation. You will never find success in the future if you haven’t adequately prepared for it.

Life has taught me that opportunities only favour the prepared hand. Like the Boy Scout motto, Be prepared! Over to you, how prepared are you for your future?

Still reflecting on my birthday about the lessons I have learnt in life's journey.

I have come to understand that relationships are a vital currency in life. My experiences have shown me the true importance of these connections. If you possess all the money in the world but lack meaningful human relationships, you are as poor as someone who has nothing.

Life is about the interconnectivity that binds us together as a community. Healthy relationships are fundamental to living a fulfilling life. It's essential to recognize that a strong relationship is your first capital, readily available to support your vision.

We become as strong as the friendships and relationships we nurture throughout our lives. I know firsthand how the relationships in my network have helped me achieve more in life.

A wise king once said, "Become wise by walking with the wise; spend time with fools, and watch your life fall to pieces"

The resources we need in life are often found within the earth, lying fallow in someone’s hands. The key to accessing them lies in cultivating value-driven relationships within our network.

One death, a lifetime story that changes the narrative.

Christ's death and resurrection settled the transaction of our eternal debt. He paid it all and settled the score. Access, freedom and life have been given to us without restriction.

From Marketplace Strategist, wishing you a Happy Easter Celebration.

The second quarter of 2026 begins today, and it also marks my birth month, a significant milestone birthday for me. In light of this occasion, I have decided to share some practical lessons I have learned and gained along my journey.

I want to begin by emphasising the importance of having the right structure in life. No one can weather life's storms without a solid foundation. The type of foundation you build will largely depend on the structure you create.

Many of the excuses people make stem from a lack of proper structure in their lives. Without a good structure, you risk becoming disorganized and chaotic.

Establishing the right order and structure will help you avoid unproductivity. So, what kind of structure do you need in your life? Here are five key elements:
● Discipline
● Vision (having direction)
● Time stewardship
● Strong work ethic
● Embracing responsibility

When structure is lacking, you lose control over your time and life, leading to a complete shutdown.
Having the right structure will foster a genuine and lasting legacy that extends beyond your lifetime.

As you were, Emmanuel Abiona

Dear Employer, Business Owner, Founders and Management Team members.

Let's have this conversation about the distinction between the role of Human Resources (HR) and Administration.

HR's role is different from Admin's role, but I see you lump both together as a single role. Each of these roles is taxing and cumbersome, making it difficult for one employee to handle. They serve very different purposes and responsibilities.

The primary focus of the HR role is on workforce development, employee growth, and fostering a people-centered environment. While the administrative role is process-driven, managing the day-to-day operations to ensure everything runs smoothly and effectively.

You can now see why combining these two roles into one can lead to decreased productivity, as the demands of each function are substantial and require dedicated attention.

I hope this clarifies the importance of separating these roles to enhance overall effectiveness and peak performance. Now that you know, take the necessary action.

Dear Entrepreneurs, Service Providers, and Business Owners

Come over, let's talk. I want to have a candid conversation with you.

I thought you mentioned the last time that you had resolved to stop disappointing your clients and customers. So why are you still carrying this bad habit into 2026?

I have received feedback from your customers, and it appears that you haven't changed. It is bad that you continue to make promises as regards when you will complete a work or project for customers and fail to deliver on time, as you have told them.

One of my guiding principles over the year is to never promise what I cannot deliver. If I realize that I cannot meet a deadline, I communicate this to my client before the deadline arrives, keeping them informed about the situation.
Instead of making a call to communicate this, you wait until the last minute of the deadline and end up disappointing your clients.

One more word for you as I offer you a piece of advice from my book, "AHEAD OF THE CURVE": Never overpromise and underdeliver on your promise and expectations. It is better to underpromise and overdeliver on the promise.

So, do I have your commitment to stop disappointing your clients and customers? If your answer is yes, congratulations on your decision to improve. This commitment can lead to more satisfied customers and ultimately attract new ones.

It's your Growth & Brand Strategist, Emmanuel Abiona

The year began on a strong note, filled with plans, aspirations, and expectations. With almost the first month already gone, it's essential to reflect on what happens if these goals aren't achieved.

Don't be surprised or disappointed if it feels like you've been scammed or misled when those expectations don't materialize. New Year’s resolutions can seem like a scam if you don't take the necessary steps to fulfill them. Results don't happen by chance; they require a consistent effort.

In reality, many people who make New Year’s resolutions end up feeling frustrated because they often can’t stick to their goals for more than two weeks, or even through the first quarter of the year.

The truth is that resolutions are typically just wishes, stemming from a rush to accomplish more or to take on too many unnecessary tasks. Simply wishing for change won’t help unless you invest genuine effort and take action. It’s not rocket science!

So, what are you waiting for? Be intentional, strategic, and focused! Put in the work needed to make this year remarkable.

𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐁𝐎𝐎𝐊 𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐑𝐓!

1 Book | 4 Parts | 27 Chapters

Introducing a new release from a seasoned author, Oluwaseyi Osuntayo, titled 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐂 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏 𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐀𝐋 𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐘, published by yours truly Marketplace Strategist.

In an era where the demands on the 21st-century church are more complex, rapidly shifting from how they have ever been, the role of a pastor has evolved far beyond the pulpit. Today’s pastoral leader is called to be a shepherd, a visionary, a strategist, a manager, and a mentor. The gap between theological training and the practical realities of leading a dynamic, multifaceted ministry can feel immense, leaving many dedicated servants feeling overwhelmed and under-equipped.

Congregations are not just spiritually hungry but are also digitally connected and globally aware. They face challenges that require more than a Sunday sermon; they demand a comprehensive, Spirit-led strategy.

In this book, the author shares insights with clarity, wisdom, and proven experience. Strategic Leadership in Pastoral Ministry is not merely a theoretical exploration of leadership principles; it is a vital field manual born from the crucible of real-life active ministry.
