IS YOUR LAPTOP RUNNING SLOWER THAN LAGOS TRAFFIC?

Solution:

1. Uninstall Unused Programs

Go to Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a program.

Review the list and remove any software you no longer use or recognize.

This frees up system memory and reduces background processing.

2. Clear Cache & Temporary Files

Open Disk Cleanup by searching for it in the Start menu.

Select your main drive (usually C:), and check boxes like “Temporary files”, “System cache”, etc.

Click OK to remove junk files and free up space.

3. Disable Startup Programs

Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.

Go to the Startup tab.

Right-click on apps with “High” impact and choose Disable.

This improves boot time and reduces background lag.

Laptop Overheating & Shutting Down? Here’s Your Fix!

Does Your laptop gets extremely hot, fans run loudly, and it suddenly shuts off—especially when gaming or using heavy software.

🛠️ POSSIBLE CAUSES:

✔ Dust-clogged cooling vents
✔ Dried-out thermal paste
✔ Too many background apps running
✔ Faulty cooling fan

🔧 STEP-BY-STEP FIX:

1️⃣ Check for Dust:
- Turn off the laptop, unplug it, and inspect the vents (usually on the sides/bottom).
- Use a can of compressed air to blast out dust.

2️⃣ Improve Airflow:
- Never use your laptop on beds/pillows—it blocks airflow.
- Place it on a hard, flat surface or use a cooling pad (we sell these too!).

3️⃣ Reduce CPU Load:
- Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc → "Performance" tab → Check if CPU usage is at 100%.
- Close unnecessary apps (especially Chrome tabs!).

4️⃣ Reapply Thermal Paste (Advanced):
- If you’re comfortable opening your laptop, replace the old thermal paste (we can do this for you at Feezy Tech).

🚨 WHEN TO BRING IT TO US:
- If overheating continues after cleaning
- If fan makes grinding/clicking noises
- If you’re unsure about disassembling your laptop
