Day 3 of my 30 Days of Fintech UI/UX Design Challenge.

Today, we looked at something every fintech product needs to get right: building trust through design.

Here are a few of the principles we discussed:

- Make users’ money visible.
- Be transparent before charging fees.
- Verify before money moves.
- Explain every transaction clearly.
- Reduce anxiety while users wait.
- Help users avoid costly mistakes.
- Give users control whenever possible.

One thing I always keep in mind when designing fintech products:

People don’t trust a financial product because it looks good. They trust it because every interaction gives them confidence that their money is safe and they know exactly what’s happening.

I’m taking on a 30-day fintech design exploration, where I’ll explore and redesign different experiences across digital banking, payments, wallets, and financial dashboards.

Each day, I’ll focus on one UI or UX problem, explain what is not working, walk through the decisions I made, and share the final outcome.

The goal is simple: practical designs that can actually be built, not just concepts that look good on a screen. I’ll also share the trade-offs, limitations, and real-world constraints behind each solution.
