We are Transforming Lives Through Technology!
From December 17th to 24th, 2024, we had the incredible opportunity to host a Basic ICT Training for SS3 students and school leavers across Oron LGA at the EDAF ICT Hub. This impactful program, generously sponsored by the Chairman of Oron LGA, Hon. (Chief) Okon Asukwo Enweme, was nothing short of transformative.
📌 About EDAF ICT Hub
The Edet Amana Foundation, in its mission of transforming lives, established the EDAF ICT Hub in Oron to improve access to technology and global opportunities for the good people of Oro Nation.
📚 What We Achieved:
✅ Introduced participants to computer basics—booting, file management, and more.
✅ Taught safe and efficient internet usage.
✅ Prepared students for Computer-Based Testing (CBT) with hands-on simulations.
✅ Empowered participants with real-world digital skills to enhance their education and future careers.
✅ Provided practical typing and formatting exercises to boost productivity.
✅ Exposed participants to platforms for continuous learning and self-development.
✅ Introduced basic design skills using Canva and shared freelancing ideas to spark creativity and entrepreneurial thinking.
Our state-of-the-art facility ensured maximum comfort, creating a learning environment that inspires curiosity, innovation, and growth.
It was an unforgettable experience! The students were deeply engaged, and their excitement to learn was contagious. Many expressed how much they didn’t want the training to end.
