Stop losing clients over simple mistakes!
Before you hit βsendβ on that design, double-check these 5 things.
I have been a victim of all of it so I am writing from experience.
Many designers mess up a good job with a rushed delivery.
Even the best design can fall flat if you miss the little things.
So before sending any flyer to your client, confirm these 5 things:
1. Correct Information
Check every single detail β names, dates, addresses, contact numbers, website links. One typo can ruin the whole campaign (and your credibility).
2. Alignment and Spacing
Donβt rely on your eyes alone. Use grids and guides to make sure elements are properly aligned and spaced. A clean layout = professional design.
3. Fonts and Readability
Make sure the text is legible, even from a distance. Avoid using too many font styles. Keep it clean, clear, and on-brand.
4. Image Quality
Blurry or pixelated images? Big red flag. Ensure all images are high resolution and relevant to the message.
5. Export Settings
Export your in the correct format, Double-check the size, bleed, and color mode (CMYK for print, RGB for digital). If you are running offset printing - ensure all your blacks and 100% (100% Black, 0% Magenta, 0% Yellow, 0%Cyan).
Your client may not notice what you fixed β but theyβll definitely notice what you missed. Read this one again π
Design smart. Deliver better.
