We just gave YiAiki a major tech upgrade!

We’ve successfully migrated our platform from React.js to Next.js, unlocking powerful SEO capabilities to help more people discover us. Plus, we’ve added an exciting new referral system - stay tuned for the full details at our official launch!

YiAiki started as a React.js/Bootstrap project, then React.js/Tailwind CSS and now Next.js/Tailwind. The result? A task-delegation and errand-running web app connecting clients with verified university students for community tasks.

The site is live now at www.yiaiki.com, but the big offline launch is coming up at the University of Abuja. See you there!

We need to connect with a student from the University of Abuja.

We just launched my web app - YiAiki - It is an errand/tasks platform that connects Clients (those who needs tasks or errands run for them) with Runners (those who run the errands/tasks).

The clients basically pay runners to do tasks or errands for them. The errands could be Home services, market shopping, baby sitting, pet care, delivery, etc.

The plan is to onboarding systematically by starting with University of Abuja.

So we need someone in the campus that we can work with.

Initially, we had "Users" - those who post tasks and errands, and "Runners" - those who run the errands or do the tasks.

We thought the name "User" is too generic as it covers everyone who uses our app. So we ended up with "Client".

So we now have 2 types of users in our system - the Clients and the Runners.

We also took that opportunity to revamp our sign up process so each user is clear on the role he/she is eligible to choose and the role he/she is choosing to avoid any confusion.
