Every journey starts long before the bus moves.

While designing this flyer, I imagined the excitement of the trip, the conversations on the road, and the first glimpse of Yankari’s beauty. I wanted the design to feel like that quiet moment before departure, when anticipation is high and memories are about to be made.

Each color choice, image, and layout decision was intentional, carefully arranged to tell a story of adventure, unity, and discovery. This is not just a flyer, it’s a visual preview of the experience.

This is what I do as a designer, turning ideas and emotions into clear, meaningful visuals.

There’s a fear many creatives don’t talk about, the fear that comes with charging what you’re actually worth.

Your hands shake a little when you type the price.
You reread the message three times before sending it.
You already start preparing excuses in your head, just in case they say no.

Because deep down, you’re not just afraid of losing the job.
You’re afraid of being rejected.
Afraid they’ll think you’re too expensive.
Afraid they’ll say, “Someone else is doing it cheaper.”

So you reduce the price.
You explain too much.
You justify your skill.
You apologize for valuing your own work.

Most times, the fear isn’t about money, it’s about confidence.

But here’s the truth that changes everything:
The right clients don’t argue your worth. They respect it.

Charging what you’re worth doesn’t make you arrogant.
It means you understand the years of practice, the sleepless nights, the mistakes, the growth that brought you here.
It means you’re no longer pricing from fear, but from value.

Yes, some people will walk away.
And that’s okay.
Those who leave were never meant to carry the weight of your skill.

And the moment you finally stand by your price, something shifts.
You feel lighter.
You work with more confidence.
You attract clients who see you as a professional, not an option.

There is freedom in valuing your skill.
Freedom in knowing your work deserves respect.
Freedom in choosing peace over approval.

And once you experience that freedom, you’ll never want to go back to charging from fear again.

Honestly, I enjoyed every part of designing this. 😊

I didn’t just want to make a flyer, I wanted it to feel like tech, growth, and the future. From the colors to the layout and how the speakers were arranged, everything was done carefully to match the vision of TECH WEBINAR 2026 and its powerful theme Beyond the Classroom: The Future and Emerging Technology.

As a designer, moments like this remind me why I love what I do. Turning ideas into something clear, clean, and meaningful is always a good feeling. Grateful to design this for ACCES ATBU Chapter.

As this year comes to an end, my heart is full of gratitude. I give all thanks and glory to God for His faithfulness, guidance, and unending grace throughout the year. There were moments of growth, moments of learning, and moments when only God’s strength carried me through.

One of my last-minute end-of-year blessings is a big reminder that God truly crowns our efforts with favor: Facebook has officially approved monetization for my account. This is more than an achievement to me, it is proof that consistency, patience, and faith never go unnoticed.
