Many months of working on this project, I'm finally almost there. In a week there will be an opening of the show that is also a graduation project from my MBA, where i had the pleasure to be the curator and a designer too.
Project's name is ‘Para-solitude: One as Many’ and it will take place in Paris, from the 6th to 11th of September. And here i am to invite those of you who'll be in the city at the time to come visit us in the gallery and see the works of our five astonishing artists.
What is our project about? Ask yourself these questions: "We often are curious about our individuality, what is it born from and how does it interact with our society?" "How do we function in groups while retaining our unique selves and whilst we strive for both - how do we achieve it?" And to all of us answers will be ambiguous and layered, n'est-ce pas?
Thus “Para-solitude” aims to question the conditions under which groups formed from individuals can be perceived as majoritarian control tools and what is their relationship with that very same individuality from which they were born.
As everything i do, this does sound unnecessarily complex 😅, and yet we have beautiful works on the show, that will speak of these ideas much better and in their own unique ways.
