entos, experiencias y memorias con un mensaje positivo. Crear estas ilustraciones me ayuda a recordar y valorar las cosas positivas de mis origenes y de mi vida. Las artes visuales son una de las herramientas mas poderosas que hay para comunciar mensajes, sin tener siquiera que usar palabras. Y cuando el idioma es una barrera, la ilustracion se convierte en un puente.

This is a "ñatita", it was inspired by the festival of the Ñatitas, a traditional rite of the Andes of Bolivia.

This rite is celebrated every November 8th in gratitude to the deceased for the favors and care that people receive from them.

The celebration consists of venerating one or several human skulls, usually from deseased family members.
