Connected Car Challenge Come up with a concept that involves connecting a smart phone to a car, and compete for 100.000 NOK in cash!! Do you know how technology can improve cars?

Did you know you can use your very own smartphone to connect to both your car’s infotainment systems and OBD using your very own smart phone? A connected car opens up a wide array of possibilities that are yet to be fully explored by third-party developers, and through the Connected Car Challenge we are inviting you to take part in exploring these opportunities. Who can participate? The challenge is targeted at great entrepreneurs and innovators looking to create technology that enhances (MøllerGruppen’s) cars. You can participate as an individual or a team, regardless of whether you have a background in business, engineering, arts or something completely different. A technical understanding is a plus. What is the format? The challenge runs over a 2 month period, starting on December 2nd. You can sign up during the entire challenge period, the only thing you have to do to to compete is submit your entry by the deadline in late January. Participants will work independently, but MøllerGruppen and StartupLab will hold online and offline office hours to answer any questions. How do I win? And what is the prize? All submitted entries will be evaluated thoroughly by a jury, based on three criteria: their value for the end-user, their degree of innovation, and their feasability degree. The winning entry will be awarded the MøllerGruppen Connected Car Award, 100,000 NOK in cash (!!), as well as the possibility to realize the concept in collaboration with MøllerGruppen’s digital group. ...and now there's only FOUR DAYS LEFT of the challenge!!

We have already received a few submissions, and are eagerly awaiting the rest of your concepts. First, to give you all the answer to a few FAQs so far in the challenge:
- The concept can be described in either English or Norwegian.
- The concept should be submitted as a slideshow (max 10 slides), and can be in any of these formats: .pdf, .ppt, .key
- The concept should be sent to this email, [email protected], by the end of Sunday January 197h
- If you are selected to pitch your concept in front of the jury, this will happen between 9-13 on Tuesday January 19th at StartupLab.

If you have any other questions, please send an email this way, and we'll come back to you asap. And as promised in the previous update, here's the four people that make the jury that will evaluate all concepts:
