Official Statement from Grindhead Productions: KRAANIUM x Slaughtercult Australian Tour
Aussie extreme metalheads,
In the last 24 hours, we got hit with something that very nearly killed this tour.
Due to the ongoing situation in the Middle East, all of Kraanium’s flights were suddenly cancelled and refunded no warning, just gone. When we tried to rebook, prices had effectively tripled overnight, with almost no viable way to even get them home.
Realistically, this should have ended the tour.
But it didn’t.
After a full scramble behind the scenes calls, reworks, budgets getting torn apart and rebuilt Kraanium, Slaughtercult, and Grindhead made the call to push forward anyway.
This tour is now going ahead at a loss for both the bands and Grindhead because we believe Australia deserves it, and the bands refused to let it die.
We want to be clear: this isn’t business as usual. These bands are taking a hit to make sure these shows happen.
So now we’re asking the same from you.
If you’ve been on the fence this is the moment.
If you support live music and extreme metal in Australia this is where it counts.
We also understand times are tough for everyone right now. But if you’re in a position to come out and support, it genuinely means more than ever on this run.
Every ticket helps.

This isn’t a sympathy post, but we believe you all deserve to understand the reality of the situation.
