HP Envy Motherboard Replacement – Dead Laptop Brought Back 💻🔧
This HP Envy came in completely dead. No lights. No charging. Another place suggested ‘just buy a new one’.
Instead, we sourced a compatible motherboard and did a full replacement:
✔ Complete strip-down
✔ Motherboard swap
✔ Fresh thermal paste
✔ Internal clean
✔ Full testing under load

PS5 HDMI Port Replacement - Teardown Timelapse 🎮🔧
Here’s Hamish working through a full PS5 teardown to replace a damaged HDMI port. The actual port work happened off‑screen (steady hands needed!), but this shows just how far a console needs to be stripped to fix what looks like a ‘small’ issue.
If your console isn’t displaying, random black screens, or loose/no signal — it’s often the HDMI port.
