So what's the big deal with Synchub anyway?

Well, it's important to not only be able to add data to your reports but also to know when data has been deleted.

In this context, "deleted" refers to a record being completely removed from the data store, as opposed to just being marked as deleted.

This can be a problem if you are using certain data management tools, because they may delete data rather than simply marking it as deleted.

SyncHub is able to detect when data has been deleted because it has a record of the data from previous sync periods. It can then determine if a record is no longer present (nice!).

Many of SyncHub's connectors have at least one endpoint that permanently deletes data, and about 18% of them will delete all their endpoints!

This is a significant issue to consider when choosing data management tools.

Bring your own database

If your plan supports BYOD, the new-connection wizard now lets you configure this before connecting your data. This makes it quite clear to our users exactly where your data will be stored and mitigates the chances of accidentally using our provided warehouse.

Cache

This one is important. If you have compliance considerations, such as GDPR, you can now completely disable the SyncHub cache before connecting your data. Again, this provides piece-of-mind and clarity before things get underway.

Name your data source

SyncHub will automatically name your data source where possible, but sometimes it’s nice to give it a handy nickname instead.

Great news - you can now integrate data from Active Campaign into your favourite reporting tool.

Active Campaign is an old classic and has been a popular request from Synchub customers for a long time now. So we are very pleased to announce that it is now available from your SyncHub Dashboard.

Simply connect your Active Campaign account, and you’ll soon be reporting on live data from deals and sales pipelines. Pretty cool, huh?

How does it work, exactly?

Synchub polls the Active Campaign API on a regular basis and syncs your data down to a relational database of your choosing. You then connect your favourite reporting tools (Power BI, Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau….) to the database, and…voila!

But I don’t have a data warehouse

No problem, Synchub provides one for free. Or you can BYOD.

Synchub has just released a new connector to get WooCommerce data straight to your favorite reporting tools, like PowerBI, Excel, Google Data Studio, or G-Sheets.

What data can I sync with WooCommerce?
