RAM prices have been on a wild ride since late 2025 and we're still feeling it now.

A 32GB DDR5 kit that cost around โฑ6,000-โฑ12,000 in mid-2025 shot up to nearly โฑ29,600 by early 2026. As of this week (April 2, 2026), there's a slight cool-down, some kits have dipped to around โฑ22,300 but don't celebrate just yet. Analysts say this is stabilization, NOT a price crash. Prices have stopped rising as sharply as they did between October 2025 and January 2026, but they are not going down either, what looks like a drop is mostly natural market volatility, not a real reversal.
Even DDR4 isn't safe. 32GB DDR4 kits that used to sell for โฑ3,600-โฑ5,400 back in October 2025 now cost โฑ9,000-โฑ10,000

Expect DDR5 upgrades and new builds to be noticeably pricier, and availability may be limited for popular kits.
