Huge respect to Sorok Short Film Festival (Organized By: Sorok Uni Foundation) for championing stories that open eyes, spark empathy, and push for a more inclusive Philippines, one where Persons with Disabilities are seen, heard, and supported. 🇵🇭🫶🏻

December 3, 2025, marked the celebration of the 10th Sorok Short Film Festival at SM Cinema Manila. The event was a tribute to inclusive cinema, bringing together the filmmaking community, actors and story tellers, to showcase their craft. The slogan/theme for the event was, "PILIPINAS PERSON WITH DISABILITY-FRIENDLY KA BA?”, bringing attention to advocacy films that strive to open the viewers’ eyes to the PWD community and ignite important discussions regarding their everyday struggles and realities.

Out of the 45 films submitted to the festival, 8 films were shortlisted. The award winning film, “PARA-PARAAN” by Mae Chan Li was a cut above the rest, winning the award for its powerful and authentic representation of the theme.

The event was a powerful and impactful showcase of the incredible talent in our film community and a testament to the power of film.
