Big news! 🎉 I just finished the AI for Research and Insights course in the new Google AI Professional Certificate.
It’s been a great experience learning how to use the latest AI tools from Google experts. I’ve learned how to automate workflows, analyze data, and even build custom apps without needing to write complex code.
It feels great to stay ahead of the curve.

Building real-world applications across the full stack for nearly 3 years teaches you how to ship features fast.

But as applications grow, the bottleneck shifts from "Does the code work?" to "Does the code scale?"

I’ve always focused on clean architecture, but lately, I’ve been deep-diving back into core Data Structures and Algorithms through a production lens. Not to pass a generic puzzle, but to better understand the performance trade-offs that matter when applications scale.

𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁: I was reviewing a routine data transformation today where a .𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘥() lookup was nested inside a .𝘮𝘢𝘱() function. It’s an everyday pattern most devs use without a second thought. But under the hood, nesting an 𝗢(𝗡) lookup inside an 𝗢(𝗡) loop instantly turns your clean code into a horrific 𝗢(𝗡^𝟮) bottleneck that can quietly choke an API endpoint under heavy production loads.

Over the next few weeks, I’m going to break down my technical notes on bridging the gap between practical software engineering and CS performance fundamentals.

I’m excited to share that I have successfully secured the Silver Tier in Google AI Seekho 2026 — recognized among 𝟳𝟱𝟬+ 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻 🇵🇰

This achievement feels even more meaningful because it continues my learning journey from last year, where I also achieved the Silver Tier in Google AI Seekho.
Over the past year, my focus has been on going beyond learning concepts — experimenting with AI, building real-world solutions, and understanding how emerging technologies can solve practical problems.

As part of this journey, I built an AI-powered project that explores the potential of AI in creating impactful digital solutions.

Blessed for another opportunity to pause, reflect, and reset.

This Eid isn’t just about celebration—it’s about discipline, consistency, and growth. The same values we build during Ramadan are the ones that define how far we go in life and career.

As a software engineer, I see a lot of parallels:
Patience → Debugging complex systems
Discipline → Writing clean, scalable code
Consistency → Showing up even when motivation drops

Wishing you peace, clarity, and meaningful progress—both personally and professionally.

𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝟭𝟬𝘅 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲. Not even close.

In reality, the impact today looks much closer to ~𝟭𝟬%.
And the data explains why? The recent research by suggests something very different.

The productivity boost today is closer to ~𝟭𝟬%, not 𝟭𝟬𝘅.
Not because AI isn’t powerful. But because 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 ≠ 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹-𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁.

Researchers compared two things across different occupations:
• Theoretical AI exposure — how much of a job AI could help with
• Actual usage — how much people are actually using AI today.

The gap is huge.
For example:
𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗿 & 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀
• Potential AI exposure: ~94%
• Real usage today: ~33%
𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 & 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲
• Potential: ~92%
• Real usage: ~40%
𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲
• Potential: ~58%
• Real usage: ~5%

This pattern shows up across nearly every industry.
AI is technically capable of assisting with a large share of tasks, but most of that capability hasn’t translated into real productivity yet.
So the real story isn’t that AI is failing. It’s that deployment that is the bottleneck.

The hype focuses on model capability.
The real challenge is turning capability into operational productivity.

And that’s a much harder problem than building the model.
The companies that figure out how to close that gap will be the ones that actually benefit from AI.

Had an incredible experience at 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀 𝗔𝗜 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 in Hyderabad, hosted by Hyderabad and .smit hyderabad!

I had the privilege of attending as an instructor for the Web & App Development course at SMIT Hyderabad, and it was inspiring to engage with sessions on 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗜, 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀, and the cutting-edge developments shaping the AI landscape.

A special thanks to the project head of SMIT and the entire team at NIC Hyderabad for organizing such a well-structured and insightful event. Events like these truly highlight how AI is transforming workflows and empowering developers to push the boundaries of technology.
