Iqbal Day Celebration organized at SLS College. CEO Education
Jhelum........ A very grand ceremony was held in SLS College on the vision of the poet Allama Iqbal. The chief guest said in his address that because of an institution like SLS, students from this region do not need to go to Islamabad for IELTS. She said that the youth should live their lives on the idea of self-reliance given by Allama Iqbal. She further said that positive thinking can be developed by attracting students towards physical activities along with education. She congratulated the Managing Director SLS College Sarfraz Malik for the awards he received from the British Council for his outstanding results in IELTS. In his address, MD SLS Sarfaraz Malik explained the history and performance of the institution, he said that during his visit to Cambridge UK, he also visited the residence of Allama Iqbal where the national poet stayed from 1905-1906. Allama Iqbal's passionate speeches highlighted the event.
Finally, Chief Guest CEO Education and MD SLS presented certificates to the students who completed UK Marriage A1 English Test, IELTS, B1, Computer, and Spoken English courses. MDbSLS presented a commemorative souvenir to the Chief Guest. SLS is the British Council's only B2B gold partner and awards holder in the Jhelum district. A student of the same institution secured 8.5 bands in IELTS, which were the highest bands across Pakistan. SLS is awarded the Award of Excellence by the British Council every year.
