Our latest Internal Tech Training (ITT), "QA Automation with Claude," led by Zaidan Jawaid and Daniyal Qureshi, demonstrated how modern AI-powered tools are transforming the way quality engineers approach automation.
​
Rather than focusing on extensive coding prerequisites, the workshop introduced a practical workflow where participants learned how to convert manual test cases into Playwright + TypeScript automated tests using Claude within VS Code. Through live demonstrations and hands-on exercises, attendees experienced how AI can accelerate test creation while maintaining engineering best practices.💻

The session emphasized that automation is not about replacing the critical thinking of QA engineers. It's about empowering them to automate repetitive tasks, speed up testing cycles, and focus on delivering higher-quality software. Participants generated, executed, reviewed, and refined automation scripts, gaining practical skills they can immediately apply in real-world projects.

In 2017, he took a break from to pursue his own entrepreneurial venture before rejoining us in 2019 as a Senior Engineer. His dedication, technical excellence, and ability to work across multiple technology stacks led to his promotion as a Principal Engineer.
