میں سوچتا ہوں محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جو دو جہانوں کے بادشاہ تھے۔۔ان کا چولہا ٹھنڈا کیوں رہتا تھا؟ وہ چٹائی پر کیوں سوتے تھے؟ اور ایک کچے مکان میں کیوں رہتے تھے۔۔کھانے کے لیے ان کے چنگیر میں صرف دو کھجوریں ہوتی تھیں۔۔کھانے لگتے تو دروازہ بجتا۔۔
‘‘میں بھوکا ہوں‘‘ اور وہ ایک کھجور سائل کو دے دیتے اور خود ایک ہی کھا لیتے۔۔میں سوچتا ہوں آپ جو دو عالم کے بادشاہ تھے انہوں نے کیوں غربت کو منتخب کیا؟
کیا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نعوذ باللہ کم فہم‘ کم عقل یا کم علم تھے؟ پھر؟ اگر وہ عقلِ کل تھے تو ہمیں ماننا پڑے گا کہ غربت میں کوئی بڑی عظمت ہے۔۔ورنہ حضور صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کبھی غربت منتخب نہ کرتے۔۔عمامیت میں کوئی بڑی خوبی ہے ورنہ عمومیت کی زندگی بسر نہ کرتے۔۔عام لوگوں جیسا لباس استعمال نہ کرتے۔۔بوریا نشین نہ ہوتے اور ایک عام سے کچے مکان میں رہائش نہ رکھتے۔۔
