Donation Appeal:
In Pakistan, individuals with visual impairments often face barriers to accessing scientific and technical education. While a few individuals and organizations sporadically organize basic computer courses for the blind, there is a pressing need for an institution that addresses the futuristic and job-oriented educational needs of visually impaired individuals.
With a vision to provide the best IT education to visually impaired persons, Ample Accessibility has successfully completed the first batch of the Basics of Python programming course in Lahore. We are now prepared to offer more advanced courses in the field of information technology, covering topics such as:
Basics of Python Programming
Website development with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP/MySQL
MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) from basic to advanced
Basics of computer and mobile operations
In the modern world, communication and public speaking skills are essential. For the first time in Pakistan, Ample Accessibility has initiated the Speech Craft from Sight to Vision Program with the support of the Project Manager's Toastmasters Club Lahore. Two successful meetings have already taken place, and we aim to include more blind individuals in this program to become leaders in their respective fields.
Recognizing the importance of physical health, Ample Accessibility is addressing the lack of facilities for visually impaired individuals in Pakistan. We have partnered with the Pakistan Wushu Federation to launch a program to train visually impaired persons in the Wushu style of martial arts. Five blind individuals are currently being trained by the internationally renowned Wushu Master, Mr. Malik Iftikhar. Ample Accessibility and Pakistan Wushu Federation Lahore aspire to extend this program to every visually impaired individual.
In response to the mental health challenges faced by visually impaired individuals during the pandemic, Ample Accessibility, in collaboration with the Say Global Foundation, has introduced a Mental Health program. The support group meetings are held every Friday to discuss the challenges faced and suggest coping techniques.
To sustain these positive initiatives, Ample Accessibility seeks your support to cover the ongoing expenses of all these activities. We earnestly appeal to you to contribute to our efforts in bringing a positive change to the lives of visually challenged individuals.
