Starting off our list at number 10, we have the infamous saltwater crocodile. Found in Australia and Southeast Asia, these massive reptiles can grow up to 20 feet long and are known for their powerful jaws and lightning-fast movements.
Next up at number 9, we have the black mamba. This deadly snake is one of the fastest and most venomous in the world, with a single bite containing enough venom to kill multiple humans.
Coming in at number 8, we have the hippopotamus. Despite their cute appearance, these animals are responsible for more human deaths in Africa than any other large animal. With their massive size and unpredictable aggression, they are not to be underestimated.
At number 7, we have the cone snail. While it may seem harmless, this small marine snail is equipped with a venomous harpoon that can paralyze its prey and even kill humans.
Moving on to number 6, we have the box jellyfish. Found in the waters of Australia and Southeast Asia, their venom is so potent that it can cause death within minutes.

At number 2, we have the inland taipan. This snake is considered to be the most venomous land snake in the world, with just one bite containing enough venom to kill 100 humans.
And finally, at number 1, we have the deadliest animal on earth - the mosquito. Responsible for over 1 million human deaths per year, these tiny insects carry deadly diseases such as malaria, dengue fever, and Zika virus.
