💥California joining our portfolio💥

is a genuinely family-run, boutique estate. Paul Sloan’s journey began with his work as a sommelier in Sonoma restaurants, yet he soon realized he wanted to craft wines of his own. Numerous trips to Burgundy and visits at such iconic producers as Domaine de la Romanée-Conti and Comtes Lafon, profoundly shaped his philosophy of viticulture and winemaking style.
Paul sees himself first and foremost as a vigneron - a farmer working the vineyard - and only secondarily as a winemaker. Since 1999, he and his wife Kathryn have farmed their organically cultivated vineyards in the cool, maritime sites of the Russian River Valley and the Sonoma Coast, planted according to high density philosophy.

The estate spans just seven hectares, with soils composed of a complex mix of sand, clay, and calcareous elements. Fermentations proceed spontaneously at low temperatures, and the wines mature for over a dozen months primarily in used, neutral French oak barrels with a light toast. The wines are neither racked nor subjected to bâtonnage, preserving finesse, energy, and purity of fruit. In the red wines, typically around half of the fruit is fermented whole cluster, contributing aromatic lift, subtle herbal nuances, and an elegant structural frame.

Annual production is limited to roughly a few thousand bottles. The wines are sold primarily through private allocation and are featured in a select group of the finest restaurants in the United States, including 3 Michelin Stars like The French Laundry, Per Se, Eleven Madison Park, and SingleThread.

When .samuel left his family estate, it was with one clear ambition - to craft Chablis at the highest possible level. Today, he is widely regarded as one of the benchmark producers of the appellation, often mentioned alongside names like Vincent Dauvissat and François Raveneau.

Farming around 15 hectares, including top sites such as Montée de Tonnerre, he works organically (without certification), entirely by hand, prioritising old vines, low yields and strict selection. In the cellar: native fermentations, gravity flow, long lees ageing and minimal intervention. Increasingly, he favours stainless steel over oak to preserve the pure, limestone-driven identity of Chablis.

Montée de Tonnerre 1er Cru 2023 comes from 70-year-old vines on the right bank, an extension of the Grand Cru slope, rooted in hard Kimmeridgian limestone. Fermented spontaneously, aged 12 months (20% in used 500L barrels, 80% in steel) followed by 6 additional months in steel for integration.

The nose shows lemon zest, white flowers, crushed chalk and a subtle iodine note. On the palate so multidimensional, compact and concentrated. Intense minerality wrapped in a creamy texture, vibrant acidity and a precise, saline finish. Build to age, but giving so much joy already.

We like to call this wine the little brother of Lutzmannsburg Alte Reben.

Lutzmannsburg’s extraordinary terroir was shaped by an ancient volcano and layered over time with limestone, clay, sand, loam, and volcanic deposits from the Pannonian Sea. Highly calcareous parcels such as Kirchberg contribute clear red fruit and floral notes, while clay- and loam-rich sites like Maissner add licorice, dried herbs, and earthy complexity. The Pannonian climate, with cool nights and elevations of 250–300 meters, ensures slow ripening that preserves acidity, enhances phenolic maturity, and delivers mineral depth with balanced tannins.

A significant portion of old-vine fruit (up to 65 years) goes into this cuvée, complemented by carefully selected grapes from younger vines. The result is a Blaufränkisch Reserve - wine that carries the depth and darkness of old vines, yet remains impressively cool, precise, and light on its feet. Spontaneous fermentation is followed by 2 years of aging in used 500-1500 l barrels.

On the nose and palate, you’ll find red cherries, various types of currant, raspberry, and wild strawberries, followed by hints of blood orange and warming spices. Characteristic peppery and earthy notes add complexity.
The palate is very fine and polished, with silky tannins and a subtle touch of salinity. The wine shows great drive and juiciness, carried by vibrant, electric acidity.

Nothing warms and comforts quite like this Blaufränkisch.

💥Długo wyczekiwany, nowy rocznik 2024 od już dostępny!💥

Mimo niezwykle trudnego dla winiarzy sezonu - najpierw przymrozki, następnie rekordowe wczesne zbiory przy temperaturze ponad 30 stopni, przerywane ulewnymi deszczami i jeden z najdłuższych zbiorów w karierze Franza i Michaela ukończony w połowie października - wina pokazują obłędny charakter i napięcie.

Niezwykle energetyczny i precyzyjny rocznik!

Alokacja mocno limitowana!

Southern Styria is a region that speaks clearly and without exaggeration. Set between the Alps and the Mediterranean, it is defined by steep slopes, substantial cooling rainfall, and a remarkable diversity of soils. The wines here are shaped by tension rather than power, where ripe fruit meets freshness and a distinctly mineral edge.

, led today by Katharina Tinnacher, is one of the estates that captures this balance with great ease. With over 200 years of family history, the estate farms 27 hectares of organically cultivated vineyards between 300 and 500 metres above sea level. Biodiversity is part of everyday life - vineyards framed by forests, meadows and orchards - while in the cellar the approach remains calm and thoughtful: spontaneous fermentations, long lees ageing, and the use of large, neutral oak and stainless-steel vessels.

2023 Ried Steinbach Erste STK Lage Morillon (Styrian Chardonnay) comes from a steep, sandy and gravelly site with limestone and clay. Fermented naturally and aged for 12 months on the lees in large oak, it shows ripe apple, peach and citrus blossom. The palate combines a gently creamy texture with fresh acidity and a subtle mineral finish. Quite aromatic for Chardonnay, yet finely precise.

2024 Gamlitz Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from several organically and biodynamically farmed sites on limestone-marl and sandy soils. Fermented partly in steel and partly in large oak, then aged for a few months on the lees, it offers herbal notes of sage and nettle, juicy green fruit, and a clean, chalky line through the finish. Elegant, fresh, and unmistakably Styrian.

Family-owned for generations Ried Welles is the true gem of the estate. The vineyard sits on a steep, windy slope at 500m above sea level, with gravelly alpine conglomerate over limestone forcing the vines to root deep into the soil. Its southeast exposure protects the grapes from the harsh afternoon sun, while the wind and nearby forest create a cool, balanced microclimate.

Small, top-quality grapes from Ried Welles were carefully handpicked and left on the skins for 14 hours to bring out depth and minerality. The wine fermented spontaneously in large traditional oak barrels and aged for 30 months in the cellar.

Refined and elegant, it offers notes of lemongrass, aloe, and grapefruit zest, with pure, crystalline minerality and an extremly long, lingering finish.

A truly great wine, a benchmark for Styria’s Sauvignon Blancs, which now stand proudly among the world’s finest.
