So much has happened lately that I’m only now finding a moment to write about one of the projects that has stayed closest to my heart: the opening of the UGG shop-in-shop inside Sport Couture at Băneasa Shopping City , where I had the pleasure of creating an illustration inspired by summer and all the good energy that comes with it. ☀️

After exploring several creative directions and illustration concepts, we landed on a vibrant summer pattern that complemented the atmosphere of the event. It was especially rewarding to see the artwork come to life on bandanas and tote bags, which guests took home as little keepsakes from the day.

I was invited to join this project by the wonderful team at .square.agency. Huge thanks to Miha and Lidia for their trust, seamless communication, and for making this one of the easiest and most enjoyable collaborations I’ve had in a long time. It’s rare to work with people with whom everything flows so naturally, and I truly hope our paths cross again.

I was also happy to share this activation with .jewelry , whose beautiful creations added an extra touch of magic, and to meet , such a wonderful and energetic person.

Special thanks to for the photos and to for the lovely conversation about our shared passion: design.

And, of course, thank you to everyone who stopped by, stayed for a chat, or left with a personalized bandana featuring a drawing or a few handwritten words of inspiration.

One of my favorite projects of the year, and a reminder of how much I enjoy creating experiences that bring people together. ✨

Looking forward to seeing what the second half of 2026 has in store.

Strasbourg | Tales of the cities

A journey of senses.
On food, feelings, scents and memories.
A city that is discovered through taste.

8/50 Slow Journey

Maybe slowness is not about the distance we travel,
but about the space we finally give ourselves to exist.

Somewhere between departure and arrival, I remembered how to be.

7/50 Slow Care

A small ritual of warmth, passed from one pair of hands to another. ☕️

Tea as self-care, tea as shared care. 💙

How do you recognize care in your everyday life?

6/50 Slow winter

This winter reminded me how many things pass us by
when we don’t stop to notice.
Snow, seasons, years.

Maybe presence is simply allowing ourselves
to feel them
while they’re still here. ❄️

Slow Reading 5/50

A quiet return to childhood, to yellow pages and borrowed worlds.
Reading in bed feels like a mindful escape — a small pause where time softens and I choose myself.

Even now, when life feels fuller and faster,
stories still find their way in —
and maybe that’s why they matter even more.

What book — or story — reminds you of who you once were?
If you feel like sharing, I’d love to read your memory. 📖🤍

Tales of the Cities is an article series started by Manuela Zipisi in January 2025, shaped by her love for places, cultures, and quiet wandering.

Being invited to add a visual trace to her words, once a month, feels like a small gift.

We begin with Brașov, the first city to be written and drawn.
