When our artist came to the workshop needing a brand new cabinet for his upcoming autumn tour with , we knew we had to build something extraordinary.
Say hello to the Vic Zino Signature 2x12 Cabinet by Kumerle Amps!
Swipe to hear it breathe 👉. We just loaded this beautiful cream-colored beast with a pair of Celestion G12-65 speakers, and as you can see by the smile on Vic’s face at the end of the clip — the tone is absolutely lethal!
Designed for both the stage and the studio, this compact cabinet is built to deliver massive projection, incredible pick response, and that pure, uncompromised boutique craftsmanship.
Vic is taking this rock machine out on the road this autumn, and we can’t wait to hear it roar in front of a live crowd! 🔊💥

From customer to brother in tone. ☕🎸
One of the absolute best parts of building amplifiers is the people you meet along the way. Sometimes, a customer doesn’t just walk away with a premium tube amp — they become a true friend.
Toni and me met at the Gothenburg Guitar Show back in 2025, where he plugged into a Blonde 1845 and decided to make it his own. Fast forward to this year’s show: he was so thrilled with his amp that he showed up at the booth, not as a visitor, but to work right alongside me — helping out with customers and demonstrating the gear all weekend long!
And then he surprises me with this custom coffee mug. A beautiful Kumerle logo on one side, and a cartoon version of yours truly on the other (complete with my name on the pocket!).
To have that kind of support and friendship within the guitar community means the world to me. Coffee in the workshop will taste a little bit better from now on.

Part 1: The foundation of a beast. 🛠️🇬🇧
From a bare aluminium chassis to the first heavy metal. The build of a custom Kumerle 100VZ has officially begun!
Swipe to see the progress 👉. We’ve just mounted the tube sockets, the heavy-duty transformers, and those big, beautiful filter caps. This specific amplifier is being custom-built for a customer over in the UK.
For the next month, this workbench will be home to point-to-point wiring, precision soldering, and meticulous fine-tuning. No shortcuts, no circuit boards — just raw, hand-wired power built by ear.
We want to take you along for the ride. Make sure to follow our page to see the birth of this 100W rock machine step by step over the coming weeks!

Following up on our last post about where to invest your tone budget — here is a perfect example from Umeå Guitar Show.
This is Peter taking our Redhead 18 for a spin. No massive pedalboards, no smoke and mirrors. Just a great guitar plugged straight into a hand-wired, highly dynamic tube circuit that responds to every subtle nuance of his playing.
When your amplifier is built to breathe and react to your fingers, you don’t need to ”rescue” your sound with a mountain of pedals. The foundation is already there.

Guitar vs. Amplifier – Where do you invest your money? 💸🔊
Listen to this great take from Adam Lee from .cz and Mato Misik – two major drivers in the Czech guitar community.
They are pointing out a classic trap that many guitarists fall into: spending all their budget on an expensive guitar, and then trying to ”rescue” their sound with a massive pedalboard through a mediocre amp.
Their verdict is clear – the amplifier is the heart and soul of your tone. If you don’t have a solid, dynamic foundation to build upon, pedals will never be able to save it.
That is the exact philosophy behind every amplifier. A great amp should respond to your touch, have unmatched dynamics, and deliver a tone that stands strong on its own.
