The world's about to go a whole lot faster!

Today marks the day Transcelestial announces the world’s first 25Gbps spectrum-less, wireless device: the .

Commercially available in Q2 2023, as mentioned in Communications Day earlier this morning, this small but mighty device will deliver the world’s fastest connectivity via lasers, and can be easily set up in less than a day.

Yesterday, our team had a great time hosting a workshop with our newest partner Teleplex Solutions, to introduce next-gen wireless laser comms to a small crowd of telco stakeholders.

"Connecting the last mile for rural areas remains a challenge for both government and enterprises, due to having to deal with difficult terrain when laying fiber cables," said HP Lee, Managing Director of Teleplex.

"Partnering with Transcelestial means that we can offer a solution that enables total wireless connectivity using laser comms to reach out to the previously unreached, and also provide a less-costly alternative for fast connectivity in urban settings."

For the first time ever, commercial has been run across telco cell towers via technology instead of fiber cables or RF, as the latter two potentially take years to install or is rife with bandwidth challenges. This momentous breakthrough is a game changer for 5G rollouts worldwide, a major milestone for Transcelestial - and Communications Day has featured it as their headliner!

Made possible by UTS: University of Technology Sydney and other partners including Mavenir, ALLDAS and Inseego the demonstration took place at the new UTS Tech Lab facilities, taking us a massive step closer to improving connectivity for over a billion people.

Dr Ray Kirby, Professor and UTS Tech Lab Centre Director, says of the demonstration: "UTS Tech Lab is proud to partner with Transcelestial to launch this public demonstration site and to support the team as they make a significant breakthrough in global connectivity innovation."

As part of their latest campaign, Singapore Economic Development Board - EDB features as a company who’s helping create equal opportunities for all.

The feature describes it most aptly: “High-speed, always-on connectivity common in highly urbanised, affluent societies remain out of reach to those lacking infrastructure and financial resources.
