Today, I had the honor of speaking at Almaas University on the topic “The Human Factor in Cybersecurity and Security Tools.”

As Rodo Omar Nor, Master of Science in Information Security from the United States International University–Africa (USIU–Africa), I focused on how people remain the most critical element in cybersecurity. We explored real-world social engineering threats, human mistakes, and the importance of building a strong awareness culture.

I also explained key security tools such as EDR/XDR, AV solutions, and patch management, and how they work together to protect organizations from modern cyber risks.
