There are very few parts of the world where GEW does not have UV systems in operation, and an established regional distributor to support them. As a result, our sales managers regularly travel the globe to visit our end users, ensuring a level of customer support that goes beyond the norm. Our Director of International Sales, Marcus Greenbrook, is currently on tour in Southeast Asia, accompanied by Jane Tan of Press Systems Group, GEW’s exclusive distributor for the region.
On a recent customer visit at PT Aneka Rupa Tera (ART) in Sidoarjo, East Java, they recreated a photo that was originally taken in 2016. ART has a GEW UV system that has now run for over 32,000 hours on a Comco press, and the company has since had GEW UV LED and ArcLED systems retrofitted on several machines.
A further development is that Tomy Suhartojo, pictured with Marcus and Jane in 2016, has now been appointed General Manager of Press Systems Indonesia, a subsidiary of PSG that has recently been established to offer excellent sales and service support in the country, with stock of spare parts and an in-house repair centre for UV cassettes and power supplies.
