We were very fortunate to have the opportunity to assist the Pendleton County Fiscal Court in a complete audio and video renovation at the Historical Pendleton County Courthouse this month. This meeting room is shared by multiple county administrative bodies that require a flexible system that allows them each to be heard and communicate clearly in the meeting space, record meetings for record, as well as live stream. When we received the call that the existing audio system had failed and needed to be replaced along with the addition of a new video recording and live streaming, we immediately got to work in designing replacing the multiple-decades old system that included components originally installed when the building was still used as the Commonwealth-use Courthouse.
Our Integration & Install team pulled all of the existing and chewed wiring and equipment and replaced the system with new, installed JBL Professional lay-in ceiling speakers that disappear into the drop ceiling grid, brought in Shure Microflex Gooseneck Cardioid microphones to ensure those speaking could be heard clearly and without interference, and Shure ULX Wireless Boundary microphones so that the room can remain flexible and members of the public can be clearly heard when speaking anywhere in the room - all routed through the Yamaha TF Rack with Dugan Automixing to ensure all microphones are heard clearly and at appropriate levels. We also replaced the decades-old cameras with two brand new state of the art PTZOptics Move 4K cameras with 30x zoom capabilities routed through Open Broadcaster Software - OBS to seamlessly match crisp video with clear audio for all recording and live streaming - all powered by the new mighty Lenovo Neo All-in-one PC.
