What an amazing feeling it is to spend a whole life with someone who you can trust, rely on, laugh with, and who supports every crazy idea I have!

I’ve never felt so supported, loved, and free at the same time.

I have NOT posted enough about the destination wedding I painted Guest Portraits at this May in California at the beautiful Twenty Mile House!

They got married on May the 4th, so obviously the lightsabers were necessary!

This one was special for so many reasons, but one of the coolest parts was that the groom’s sister hired us for her winter wedding just months before this, so there were some family members I got to paint again. I wasn’t sure if they’d want another one, but hearing that they already had a frame and pose picked out for this one was so sweet. I also learned that my previous clients were pregnant before they announced it and got to paint them again with the bump. 🥹

I also have to mention their pup Yoshi, who I painted as a complimentary portrait before the wedding as a thank you for having Jacklyn and me at their wedding.

Seriously, they were a dream to work with, and I’m constantly blown away by the connections I make with such amazing people doing what I love.

So it doesn’t matter where your venue is, I go where the love takes me! 🥂

Finally! A guest favor that’s actually worth it!

This guest favor is so unique because it doubles as an experience & a gift that they will keep forever!

At this wedding, some of the family members had been at another wedding I painted just a few months before. This sweet guest told me she knew I’d be there, planned her pose in advance, and get this, already bought a frame for the painting before hand for it.

The groom’s parents told me they’re officially collectors of my portraits of them now. And the groom’s sister was a past client of mine, which I’m so grateful to keep working with amazing clients and their families, wedding after wedding.
