I speak to kids from time to time (Jack & Jill clubs, schools, etc.), but last week when I spoke to a group of young students I wanted to jazz it up a little using characters from a couple of my books, so I had this video trailer made. It's 1 minute long - and their feedback...claps and cheers 😁 lol - gotta love the kids for their sincerity! 'Sound on' for the music.

Many people send emails from their home to their jobs, cyber criminals know this and can use this as a way to access a company’s network.

Someone in an household (including children) clicks on a link, this can unknowingly let a bad guy onto your home network. The cyber thief can take your data right away or sit on your network quietly waiting for the right moment when someone in your home forwards the email to their job. They can now gain access to that company’s network, from there they can pivot and exploit vulnerable security measures.

This is one reason that good cybersecurity is important at home and at work. Talk to your family about using good cybersecurity practices - security awareness really does help. Some cyber attacks can be stopped.
