Here is my Christmas 1999 Greeting Card. It features a "cool penguin" as its spokesperson. The "Have A Nice Christmas" was a reference to a dance club I frequented a lot known as "Have A Nice Day Cafe." A seventies club. The overall vibe and feel of this hopefully is evident on this card.

This is probably my favorite. Pretty ambitious for a Christmas card cover, or maybe a lot of work for no good reason. Who wants to curl up and read such a long greeting card?

I did do some minor adjustments and enhancements to this cover while still maintaining the style from 1997. This card was created using colored pencils and scanning it. (Who knows where the original picture is?) It was also formatted front and back in QuarkXpess. When I opened it in InDesign, a lot of elements were moved or missing. The interior thankfully was made into a jpg and appears as it was in the original. card.

Got my Pickleball Paul books yesterday. Fun series! Great illustrations! Good messages! I give it 1000 pickles!

You can get yours as well! Think of it posters! Books! Fun! Lessons! And there's also a penguin. There's also a "where's Waldo" aspect to this children's book that will have you coming back for more.

Each book in the series teaches children basic family values such as courage, determination, teamwork, making sincere apologies, anti-bullying, etc.

As I get more work, and find myself busy, I also love to view livestreams like to decompress. On Friday there is something known as the chaotic draw along. Last Friday the prompt was "Goblin tank" and so I got inspired over the weekend to create this. I looked at a lot of reference, both in terms of WoW related art and steampunk tanks, goblins, and landscapes and this came together.

Somewhere on this site I believe I have an earlier attempt of my digital art and hope that this shows some degree of progress from that time.

It's Inktober. This year, similar to last year before I suffered from diabetic cellulitis, I was creating comics based on the promps. This year, so far, I have only done the first five. # smores Smokey the bear talks to the human torch about fire safety.

The process is simple. You send me a favorite photo and I will transform that into a portrait. You will have the digital file of that portrait that you can use as you wish.
