Aurora Pride Parade 🏳️‍🌈 was so fun! 🤩
My oldest kiddo walked with Belong: Fox Valley and handed out goodies to the crowd and we watched proudly. My youngest kiddo designed the winning logo for the Aurora Pride Parade this year and the t-shirts are now on sale via their FB page and website! She worked so hard on this “Pride cats” design and all her creativity really shows!

Cutest for Madison who is bound this fall! I’ve seen this bed party trend before but this is my first time putting decor together for one. Love it! Madison loves it and got some killer LC swag !!!! Biggest congrats to Madison!

What do you do when you’re on a tight flower budget and your wholesaler can’t get you the rainbow-colored blooms you want (because you didn’t order in time)?!?
You make your own flowers!
I drew all of these in ProCreate on my iPad then had them printed larger scale, mounted them to foam board and cut them all. Added skewers to them and arranged them just like I would with real flowers. Added disco balls as “filler” and they made for the perfect MaddiePalooza-themed centerpieces!

“Adventure Awaits” themed backdrop (*donation) for complete with school mascot, dozens of paper planes and event banner. This was a fun one to brainstorm on how to interpret the theme— I went out of the box and did paper planes and a muted palette and I love how it turned out! My kids even posed so eloquently for a few photos in front of it 🤪😂

*every year I donate decor for an event or two and this year the events are the LWS Fun Fair (the backdrop pictured) and an upcoming LGBTQ+ teen prom. I especially like to donate when the events are things my kids and their friends will attend and that is the case with this year’s events.
