The Code Hive is a Python coding and physical computing design studio for elementary and middle school students in Austin, Texas. Through project-based instruction that emphasizes interdisciplinary synthesis, we are educating our students to be technical leaders in the 21st century marketplace. We offer semester studios, summer camps, and workshops to help our students develop computer science flu

ency and apply this knowledge in new contexts. We are constantly refining our pedagogy and instruction to offer the highest value, most industry-relevant learning opportunities available. With student to instructor ratios of 4:1 at most, we are personally invested in the success of each of our learners.

Fridays are for fun! Registration for the kid's workshop from 9:30-11:00am is now open. Grades 5-8 will be using Raspberry Pi microcomputers to create in Python. Grades 2-4 will engage in unplugged activities focusing on programming fundamentals, finishing up with a hands-on coding project.
