🚀 Big news: Viviota is partnering with Signal.X Technologies — and we'll be sharing a booth at NI Connect 2026 in Fort Worth, May 12–14.
Two complementary platforms. One end-to-end solution for manufacturers who need to turn test and machine data into decisions — faster.
Signal.X brings 20+ years of NVH and end-of-line test expertise:
🔹 Defining clear, defect-revealing test targets
🔹 Precision control of test stands and production cells
🔹 Robust archival of raw and processed test data
Viviota delivers the engineering data platform that scales it across the enterprise:
🔹 Ingests and transforms engineering and IIoT sensor data of any type
🔹 Unifies it into a searchable, governed repository
🔹 Powers a high-performance analysis workbench for engineering teams
Together, we help manufacturers:
âś… Dramatically reduce time-to-insight
âś… Cut test costs and eliminate redundant testing
âś… Pinpoint root causes of failures and performance drift
âś… Operationalize AI/ML for predictive quality and reliability
If you're heading to NI Connect 2026 in Fort Worth, swing by our shared booth. Whether you're tackling complex NVH challenges or scaling data-driven engineering across a global organization, we'd love to show you what's possible when domain-specific test expertise meets a modern engineering data infrastructure.
Looking forward to connecting with the test & measurement community. đź‘‹

TD Synnex and HPE

We’re proud to partner with TD SYNNEX, a global leader in technology distribution and solutions orchestration. TD SYNNEX brings together an extensive ecosystem of IT products, services, and innovative solutions that help technology providers and resellers accelerate growth and deliver value to their customers. With operations spanning more than 100 countries and decades of experience connecting world-class technology vendors with the partners who serve the market, TD SYNNEX simplifies complex technology challenges and unlocks new opportunities across enterprise IT, cloud, networking, security, and more.

Through our partnership with TD SYNNEX and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), we now offer integrated solutions that combine the reach and infrastructure of one of the world’s largest technology distributors with the innovation of HPE hardware and our own platform — empowering customers to adopt best-in-class technology tailored to their business needs.

Why It Matters

Engineering organizations struggle not just with analytics software, but with standing up reliable, scalable infrastructure that can ingest, process, and operationalize massive volumes of sensor, test, video, and simulation data. Our partnership with TD SYNNEX and HPE enables Viviota to deliver a fully integrated solution that removes that complexity.

By combining HPE’s enterprise compute, storage, and edge platforms, TD SYNNEX’s global fulfillment and solution enablement, and Viviota’s Time-to-Insight and Embyr platforms, customers gain a turnkey foundation for engineering analytics and AI. Teams can move from raw data to actionable insight faster, with predictable performance, simplified procurement, and a deployment model that scales from lab environments to production and edge deployments.

The result is faster engineering cycles, reduced integration risk, and accelerated ROI — enabling organizations to confidently operationalize advanced analytics, digital engineering, and AI across the product lifecycle.

spent some time at CES 2026 this year and honestly felt like I was watching science fiction turn into real engineering.

The robots I saw weren’t slow research projects or fragile demos. They were fast, physically resilient, and surprisingly capable — demonstrators could push or shove them and they stayed upright and kept moving. That changes how you think about where robotics is heading and how close we really are to large-scale deployment.

I wrote up some of my observations in Part 1 of a short CES series: “Robots Are Leaving the Lab.” It covers what stood out, why this shift matters, and what the real engineering challenges are as these systems move into real-world environments.

More coming soon — next up I’ll share what I saw in smart glasses and wearable tech.

Walking the floor at CES 2026 felt like watching science fiction turn into engineering reality. Robots weren’t just impressive — they were fast, resilient, and increasingly human in their dexterity.

CES 2026 made one thing clear: the line between science fiction and real engineering is disappearing fast.

From robots leaving the lab, to wearables disappearing into daily life, to AI systems running into unexpected bottlenecks – engineering and test teams are being asked to turn flashy demos into reliable, scalable products.

I’ve put together a 3-part CES 2026 series for engineers and technology leaders:

Part 1: Robots Are Leaving the Lab
Part 2: Wearables Are Becoming Invisible
Part 3: The AI Bottleneck Nobody Is Talking About
Each article covers what’s emerging and what it really takes to deploy these technologies at scale.
