Have you ever asked AI to write your résumé based on what it already knows about you?

I did and it turned out great.

Not just my old career.

It pulled in the NEW skills, projects, tools, side gigs, and experience I’ve built while reinventing my next chapter.

If you’ve been using AI for a while, it may know more about your growth than you realize.

Try this:

“Based on everything you know about me, create a résumé for the person I am becoming — not just the career I left behind.” I have a better prompt than this, but just try something simple at first and then retrospect on it. Or I can give it to you just let me know.

I was genuinely impressed with what it pulled together.

AI isn’t just about writing prompts. The real value comes from what happens after.

How often do you stop and ask:
• What worked?
• What wasted time?
• What prompt gave the best result?
• What should I change next time?

Treat every AI session like a sprint retrospective. Keep what works, improve what doesn’t, and leave every session with one or two action items. Small improvements compound fast.

Can we talk about AI for a second? 😂
I’m a decent prompter, but I think you have to clean your memory up from time to time. Even after doing that, it’s getting confused.

I kept asking AI to write me a post… and it kept giving me images.

I even told it, “I asked for a post, not an image.”

It apologized, agreed I was right… then gave me another image. 🤦‍♀️🤣
