Throw The Bumper Thursday!!!!

If you've spent time with me around the dock or as I look at photos, you know one of my top tips for better photos is to turn your bumper around. Who doesn't love a shot with you pup or team name showing. Seacoast DockDogs had some great bumper placements at their event last weekend!

As I start my nearly 10 hour drive home this morning and at least a weeks worth of editing, I can't help but be grateful for the invite to spend my weekend with Seacoast DockDogs at their new event Antlers & Airtime. This special project took me well outside my comfort zone. I do not have much experience with portraiture, but when Katie Brown and Ian asked me to come take Newborn Photos, I knew I had to put my best foot forward. Baby Wyatt has the sweetest four legged big brother, Mack. He definitely thought the whole photoshoot was for him, but it made for very cute memories. 🥰

This brand new event with Chesapeake DockDogs and Best Friends Fur Ever Dog Daycare and Overnight Resort at Big Truck Farms and Brewery was an absolute blast! The dogs had Hops and so did the beer! Such a fun weekend with a gorgeous setting and weather.

I want to give a special shout out and thank you to Wendi Miller Chapman and Britney Muth! In the last two weekends, both offered to take my camera and try to grab a few photos of one of the Flying Brownies first time competing in extreme vertical. They both knocked it out of the park and it means so much to me to now have photos of my own dog completing in this new discipline.

Hops on the Dock photos may take a few days since I am currently in route on another very special photo mission.

Dogfish Head first ever Dockfish Dogs with Delmarva DockDogs was such a blast! Dogs flying high, crowds cheering and beers flowing! It was a great event and I got to enjoy the new challenge of competing my own Iron Dog while trying to take photos which I quickly learned is not as easy as it sounds.
