11 - 12 years ago - 40 Billion in funding in hand, plans, property all line up
And yet until today no track!
Estimated new cost 130+ Billion

This train…lack there off should have been enough
Throw in frequent trips to China, some questionable activities
Flooding, Doughts, Fires while refusing to take any action to mitigate
Even if you don’t want to talk about the sanctuary cities, the incredible debt
Illegals, allowing illegals to receive Medicaid/ Medicare, monies, Drivers Licenses, Commercial Drivers licenses, voting? Crime!

Who would vote for this imbecile, listen to him…he’s bragging about this boondoggle.

Merry Christmas-
The technology in smart devices is marching on at a rapid pace.
GE and several other companies are offering some new / newer products that are inexpensive with virtually no technical knowledge needed to use and make your life easier with a simple application on your smartphone.

Things you can simply plug and play with no a lot of money

Smart lights - outdoor or indoor
Smart cameras
Smart Thermostat
Can all be done without any/ much installation.

One item that comes to mind which in my view is pretty good that will make your “old” house really “smart” is by installing a good quality thermostat that automatically can control the house/room temperature and humidity.. Automatically controlling the functions of your whole house air conditioning and heating system once properly set and programmed provide energy savings in my perspective..

A Honeywell internet connected thermostat is one good example.. Aside from energy savings, it gives you the flexibility, the intelligence to monitor the conditions in your house as it is accessible, controllable and programmable even when you are vacationing locally or in some other countries..

Other products labeled as IoTs, like Alexa, Echo, etc. in my view are not really “smart” devices as they cannot function without any human interactions and interventions..

Xfinity / Comcast - cellphone offers- how I just saved $640

As I posted earlier I had someone try to scam me today pretending to be a Xfinity rep.

So I called and reported the situation, it took 30 minutes of back and forth through menus/ fighting the automation to sw someone…ugh, but I prevailed. I then had another 45 minutes to actually get what i wanted done.
After talking about security I ask for a review of my account. I highly recommend this regardless of what you call for or how long it takes. Xfinity will not ever call you and offer better deals, you must push them.

They always ask about your cellphone carrier and I knew they had some attractive options and as I have a head cold and had time to burn today I persevered and inquired as to what offers they had.

I am a Verizon Wireless retiree and I get a discount on my cell service. Regardless of my discount, Xfinity (they resell Verizon service so really the same service) beat the heck out of the price I pay with my former employer.

I was paying $77, with making the switch to Xfinity I am now paying $24!

Saving $53 a month, BAM= $640 a year saving
