This Acquaint Week, we discovered what happens when two strangers from different corners of the world sit down for a conversation with no agenda? 🧡🌎

Eleven Global Conversations Volunteers from Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, China, the Philippines, Syria and India shared what those conversations have meant to them: nervous first sessions that ran long, assumptions that fell away, and the discovery that people on opposite sides of the world have more in common than they expected.

Brian says, "instead of relying on what I had already seen in movies, I actually got an opportunity to hear from someone who has actually lived these experiences".

While Shadia emphasized on "learning goes with ways", Swzan talked about "how similar we are even though we live in different parts of the world".

Royce beautifully talked about Acquaint and its goal by saying "they offered me an opportunity to become a human again".
