Which button are you more drawn to?

Even a tweak "as small as" your button design can MASSIVELY impact your conversion rates.

These two buttons are technically the same color, but I'm sure you'd rather click the second one for several reasons:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. HIGH CONTRAST
The all red background provides a higher contrast against the light pink background, so your eye naturally goes towards that bold color block first.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. STRONG LANGUAGE
With the second button, we know exactly what will happen when we click. People are always more likely to click when they know what to expect next.

3. DEPTH
The shadow under the button further reinforces in your brain that it's a clickable element.

Make sure the buttons on your website stand out and have a clear message, so visitors are never confused on where to go or what will happen next. When they get confused, you lose the sale.

Have a list of incredible services you offer, but don't want to throw every last detail on your website, overhwleming your potential clients?⠀

Yesterday we talked about WHY you should create a downloadable services guide, and now we're ready to talk about what goes inside:
⠀⠀
1. A COVER PAGE
This may seem unecessary, but it's that professional touch that can leave a lasting impression. We want a pretty cover page with your branding (logo, colors, maybe your slogan) and a title, for brand awareness purposes and also to let people know what they're about to read.
⠀ ⠀
2 - A WELCOME / INTRO
Again, this is for brand awareness, but it can also serve as a place to communicate your brand messaging. Briefly introduce your brand and tell people who they'll become once they book the services you're about to list. (But be sure to keep it short!)
⠀⠀
3 - YOUR SERVICES
THIS is where you can go hard on the details and content. People are clearly interested in your services and want to know specifics, so let's give it to 'em. List your prices, what your packages include, timeline (if applicable), etc.

4 - CONTACT INFO
Tell people how they can easily get in contact with you if they have any specific questions. Link any social accounts you have as well!
⠀⠀⠀
5 - CALL TO ACTION
This is where you make booking a breeze after they've just read about your incredible services. Make your PDF interactive and add a button that takes them straight to your booking site. This can go on the same page as your contact info as a final page.

3 WAYS TO IMPLEMENT A CRM ON YOUR WEBSITE
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
CRM = Customer Relationship Management.
These incredible softwares help you manage relationships with your customers (duh 😂) by streamlining processes and creating a professional experience from start to finish.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
CRMs I’d personally recommend are Dubsado (what I use) and Honeybook, which is a great one for wedding professionals.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Not only are CRMs extremely useful, but you can integrate them directly on your website in multiple ways:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1 - INQUIRY FORMS
If you have a CRM, you should be embedding intake forms on your contact/booking page. When someone submits this form, it automatically sends the info to your CRM, creates a new lead, and adds any other submitted info to their profile.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This takes out receiving the inquiry by email, then heading to your CRM to manually input the new info yourself. (And this is important for workflows too! But we'll get there...)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2 - SCHEDULE A CALL
If you always have a discovery call option available for new inquiries, save time by embedding that scheduler directly on your website! Allow people to pick a time to chat whenever works for them.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This takes out unnecessary steps of the process and reduces the number of clicks needed to book—which is always what we want!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3 - CLIENT PORTAL
Most CRMs have some sort of online portal where clients can see their contract, forms they’ve filled out, access new forms, and make payments. Add a button on your site that takes them directly to their portal login.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This ups your professionalism (“client portal” sounds like a pretty exclusive experience!) and gives your clients 24/7 access to all this info.

4 WEBSITE MISTAKES FOR WEDDING PROFESSIONALS TO AVOID (w/ fixes!)

🦸‍♀️ You set yourself apart by talking about YOU.
I know it says yourbusiness.com and has your logo up top… but your website is not about you. It’s all about your potential buyer. You want THEM to be the hero of the story.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
FIX: Instead of talking about why you’re so great (which we already know you are), describe who they’ll become and the benefits they’ll reap after working with you.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🚦 Not listing clear next steps.
A “call-to-action” is the button on every page that tells people what to do next. (“Book/buy now” or “inquire” or whatever action language you use to shift browsers to buyers) Don’t make people search for how to contact you / what next steps will look like.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
FIX: Add a CTA on at least every page, as well as one in your top navigation. Also include a little info on what the process looks like. (response times, how you’ll meet, etc)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
💰 Not listing your prices.
I’m passionate about being transparent with prices. I think this is especially important with weddings, where there’s usually a budget in place and brides already have a price range in mind. Trust me, future you will thank me for the time saved with this one.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
FIX: List your prices or at least a range (“starting at…”)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🥵 Listing too MANY details
Okay, I know I just gave details to put on your website, but overwhelming visitors with too much information on your website is something you definitely want to avoid. Wedding planning is already stressful, so don’t stress potential buyers out with TMI on your website!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
FIX: Create a pretty PDF that has allll the details they could ever want. Packages, deliverables, timeline—oh my! This clears up your site and allows people to dig deeper if they’re truly interested. (Currently doing this for several of my wedding clients! 😉)
