Tampa this week - at the 2026 SSDN Annual Meeting.
Mayor and SSDN Executive Director Rob Phocas opened with a strong picture of regional sustainability leadership in practice.

The Mayor highlighted Tampa’s commitments - desalination, green infrastructure, energy and greening initiatives, and the ongoing work of engaging stakeholders and building bridges with communities. Rob laid out how SSDN is supporting sustainability directors across the southeast, connecting cities and sharing what’s working.

Proud to be a Supporter-level sponsor of this year’s gathering. Grateful to everyone who stopped by our booth Monday and Tuesday for honest conversations about what’s working in action plan implementation - and where cities could use a hand.

Proud to be a Supporter-level sponsor of the 2026 SSDN Annual Meeting in Tampa next week.

The Southeast Sustainability Directors Network brings together the people doing the actual work of turning sustainability and resilience plans into action across the region — and that mission sits at the heart of everything we do at Cloudsyte.

If you’ll be in Tampa Monday or Tuesday, swing by our booth. We’d love to hear what’s working in your community and where the gaps are.

Thank you to SSDN for the opportunity to support this gathering, and to the cities, counties, and partners we’ll see next week.

Happy Earth Day 🌍

Every city that commits to a climate plan is making a promise to its residents. Cloudsyte exists to make sure that promise gets kept.

→ Close the gap between plans adopted and plans delivered
→ Make every city’s progress visible to the residents who deserve to see it
→ Keep building until every commitment becomes a result

The planet does not need more plans. It needs proof they are working.

Most communities have made a commitment to sustainability and resilience. A climate action plan, a resilience strategy, an adaptation roadmap - years of community engagement and political will, written down and adopted.

But what happens after adoption?
Actions sit in documents. Departments work in silos. Progress is rarely measured. And when residents or funders ask what is actually being done, there is often no clear answer.

That is the problem Cloudsyte was built to solve.
We work with cities, counties, and state agencies to turn every commitment in their existing plans into assigned, trackable work - with a public dashboard that updates automatically as teams make progress.

No consultants. No manual exports. Live in one week.
If your community has a plan and needs a system to deliver it, we would love to show you what that looks like on your actual plan - in 30 minutes.

We are thrilled to announce Cloudsyte's new research and deployment partnership with the University of Michigan School of Information.

As part of this collaboration, we are working directly with five forward-thinking municipalities: Detroit, Kalamazoo, Sterling Heights, Royal Oak, and East Lansing. Our goal is to evaluate and strengthen the day-to-day workflows local government teams use to execute their sustainability, adaptation, and resilience plans.

By bridging academic research with real-world municipal delivery, we are making it easier for cities to turn 200-page strategy documents into structured, verifiable progress.

New feature launching this week: Impact Simulator

City teams are doing important work, but it’s not always easy to see how today’s projects connect to long-term goals.

This week we’re launching the Impact Simulator in Cloudsyte. It helps municipal teams model “what-if” scenarios, compare different initiatives, and estimate impacts alongside investment needs. It’s designed to support better prioritization and clearer reporting to leadership and the public.

Preview below. If you’d like a quick walkthrough, comment or message us.
