A music side project. A read-later queue. A LinkedIn post archive. 1,310 Pokรฉmon cards.

Swipe to see what four Bufferoos built with the API ๐Ÿคณ

Four Buffer teammates built something on our API this year using the same workflow as everyone else.

Swipe ๐Ÿคณ

๐ŸŽต brandon aka kid lightbulbs wrote his own voice guidelines, then had a GitHub Actions workflow draft and schedule daily posts for his music project, Unstream: Support music artists directly

๐Ÿ“š Miguel David built a macOS app that triages his Readwise queue and drafts a summary he edits before sharing

๐Ÿ’ผ Simon built a LinkedIn co-Simon pulls his post archive weekly through the Buffer MCP and suggests topics he then workshops

๐Ÿƒ Joe Birch drops in a zip oJoe Birch card photos, Claude reads each one, and the listings and posts queue up

And every one drafts into Buffer, where they review the content before anything publishes.

As of today, Buffer is a connector in Claude! ๐ŸŽ‰

You can now review your analytics, plan, write, and schedule a full week of posts in a single conversation:

๐Ÿ“Š Ask what worked. "What were my top posts this month?" pulls real data from your Buffer account.

โœ๏ธ Draft from what's working. Take your best-performing post and ask for three more in the same shape.

๐Ÿ” Reshape for another channel. Take one idea and rewrite it for LinkedIn, Threads, or X.

๐Ÿ“… See what's already scheduled. Ask what's going out this week across every channel, and move things around without opening your calendar.

๐Ÿ’ก Save an idea for later, straight into your Buffer content library so it's waiting when you sit down to write.

๐Ÿ—“๏ธ Send it all to your queue, ready to publish at your best times.

All of it works with the channels you've connected to Buffer, across all 11 we support, from LinkedIn and Instagram to TikTok and Bluesky. Everything you create in Claude shows up in Buffer, where you and your team can review it before anything goes out. ๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿ”— Setup is quick, and it's live now. We hope you love it as much as we do!

80 community questions a week, four Slack channels, one volunteer.

Swipe through how Angie Obiesie built a pipeline that turns a morning of questions into a week of posts in her voice ๐Ÿ‘‰

Full build breakdown on the blog โ€” link in bio ๐Ÿ”—

Angie volunteers as a community lead at a tech non-profit that gets 80 questions a week

In addition to the volume of work, a significant hurdle was the lurkers. The most stuck members never asked questions

Her fix: make the answer public before the next person has to ask

The workflow follows five steps

The ideas are spaced out in Buffer for Angie to review

This build gave her 15โ€“20 hours a week back

Brandon Green (brandon aka kid lightbulbs), a Staff Product Manager here at Buffer and founder of Unstream (Unstream: Support music artists directly), described his marketing strategy as โ€œimpulse posting.โ€ Think of something, drop everything to write it, forget about it for two weeks.

So he built an automation that runs the whole thing:
โฐ GitHub Actions fires the job every Monday at 9 a.m.
๐ŸŽต His artist database and shipped-features log supply the raw material
โœ๏ธ Templates built on his own voice guidelines shape each post so itโ€™s all genuine copy
๐Ÿ“ฃ The Buffer API schedules the full week across Instagram, Threads, and Bluesky

The result: 21 posts a week across 3 platforms, zero manual triggers โ€” and the content pool grows on its own as the product grows.

How he built it (and what you can steal even if your stack looks nothing like his) is all on the blog. Link in bio ๐Ÿ”—

Selling one Pokรฉmon card means a listing, a description, photos, and a social post. Joe Birch (Joe Birch), a senior engineer here at Buffer, had over 1,000 to sell.

So he built a Mac app that runs the whole pipeline:
๐Ÿ“ธ He photographs cards in batches and drops a zip into the app
๐Ÿƒ Claude reads each card โ€” name, set, rarity, edition, condition
๐Ÿ›’ The listing goes live on his store via the WooCommerce API
๐Ÿ“ฃ The Buffer API queues a post for every card, timed for when buyers are online

The social step is the part most sellers skip, and itโ€™s the one that matters most. Card collectors donโ€™t hunt marketplaces โ€” they spot a card in their feed and click through. A listing nobody sees doesnโ€™t sell.

The tally so far: 1,310 products listed, 1,000+ posts in his Buffer queue, and about $20 in total AI costs.

What do you do when 42% of your social clicks land on a โ€œ404 โ€” page not foundโ€?

That was the problem facing Anthony Franco, founder of QualityAssuranceJobs.com

So Anthony built a new solution. The results:
โ†’ +200% X impressions
โ†’ +18.8% job-page views
โ†’ +13.6% active users
โ†’ +70% likes
