Hello everyone! While the new features offered by iOS 18 are exciting and make using your phone a more deeply customizable experience we’d like to give our recommendation on whether or not you should be upgrading at this time.

Typically the first wave of users to upgrade on the newest iOS are participants in a larger scale beta test. Since internal testing can only cover so much ground it’s up to the users to help identify the issues with the new software and report back so it can be fixed. If this is something that you’re willing to take part in, then go ahead and upgrade but be aware of the risks. There can potentially be bugs that disrupt the use of your device so if this is an important part of your day-to-day then please consider the following:

Our official recommendation is that you give Apple more time to iron out all the kinks and give you a smoother user experience. They are hard at work to resolve these issues and giving them time to do so will minimize the risks associated with upgrading your device.
