Meet Seth Short, one of our amazing Service Desk Analysts and veterans here at Provalus. Interested in furthering his career in IT, Seth joined the Provalus team after falling in love with the mission and positive culture. Never having seen this kind of atmosphere at previous organizations, Seth sought to contribute to our growing culture himself. He started a company-wide Teams chat titled "SS Positivity" for employees to share daily affirmations and uplifting words—over 100 Provalus team members are active in the chat! Seth regularly volunteers in the community and appreciates our push to make positive change in rural communities.

This year, a few of our sites added a bake-off to their Spring Social! Team members shared their best baked treats, and everyone voted for their favorites. From delicious cakes to cookies to tarts, the homemade creations were as sweet as the camaraderie among our teams!

This year's Murder Creek Mud Run was nothing short of unforgettable! Our team raced through more than 3 miles of muddy obstacles spanning over three of Brewton's beloved parks, all connected by Murder Creek.

Hosted by the city of Brewton, AL, this annual event is a highlight on our calendar every year. Watching team members, leadership, and even a handful of out-of-town team members stick together to get across the finish line is a reminder of the amazing camaraderie and culture here at Provalus.

Before the race, Executive Vice President Ryan Ruwe arrived with a t-shirt gun, launching Provalus-branded t-shirts into the crowd.

We're pumped for next year's run already!

Meet Brittany, a Shift Lead at Provalus.

Growing up in the small town of Brewton, Alabama, Brittany faced limited career options. She worked on a farm for seven years until her doctor said the job was too strenuous on her body. Few local companies offered suitable opportunities, let alone prepared their employees for a career in the IT industry.

Enter Provalus. Brittany has built a career for herself in a role that doesn’t require heavy physical work, allowing her to reach her full potential in an industry she previously did not have access to. She is a leader and a great example of women paving the way in IT, and we're proud to champion her during Women's History Month.

Our annual Shamrock fundraiser was a huge success! Once again, partnering with The TGB Foundation, this employee-driven campaign allows Provalus team members to uplift each other while supporting an incredible cause through sharing words of affirmation on celebratory St. Patrick's Day Shamrocks. They also have the option to purchase cans of silly string to spray on their approving coworkers.

Each heartfelt note and can of silly string includes a donation to TGB, and 100% of the proceeds go directly to their fight against child trafficking—and our teams shared 3,500+ shamrocks and 250+ cans of silly string with one another! This is our biggest year to date, and we're excited to see this campaign grow more each year! 💚🍀

Provalus hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on March 3rd for the grand opening of our newest Center of Excellence in North Wilkesboro, NC, marking our second location in North Carolina.

With over 100 team members in North Wilkesboro, Provalus is well ahead of our goal to create 150 new careers in Wilkes County over three years. We appreciate the support from the Wilkes Chamber of Commerce and the entire Wilkes County community for welcoming us to this wonderful town. We are looking forward to this next chapter of growth, partnership, and impact in North Carolina.

We had an amazing week full of informative interviews, panel discussions, and an inspiring keynote! 🇺🇸

This was our third Stars & Stripes Summit, and we are honored to have welcomed so many new faces to our new home in North Wilkesboro, NC! Our goal was to unite mission-driven organizations and build real connections while highlighting the contributions of our military and veteran community—and we did just that.

Meet Shelby Robertson, our very first hire at Provalus in Tahlequah.

First brought on as a recruiter, Shelby hired the first 100 employees at our Tahlequah facility before shifting roles internally. Initially seeking information about this new business in town, she interviewed with Provalus out of curiosity and was pleasantly surprised by how much the mission resonated with her, making Provalus the obvious next step in her career.

Shelby grew up in Tahlequah and bought her first pair of boots at the Workman's Department Store, which Provalus has now revitalized as a Center of Excellence. Today, she works in that very building and is actively involved in Provalus' attendance at local festivals and community events.

Stories like Shelby's are why we value building strong relationships with each community we are a part of. We're proud to recognize Shelby, especially during Women's History Month.
