Meet Dalton Root, IT Manager here at Provalus. Born and raised in Tahlequah, Dalton began his IT career at Northeastern State University (NSU) before becoming Tahlequah's first IT site admin. After being solely responsible for managing equipment and network connectivity for the entire site, the team expanded, and he was promoted to IT Manager.

While advancing his IT career locally was a big benefit, Dalton was particularly drawn to Provalus' mission and the opportunity to give back to his community.

Last week, we hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of our Center of Excellence in Whiteville, NC, marking our third location in North Carolina.

We appreciate the support from the Columbus County Chamber of Commerce and the entire Whiteville community for welcoming us to this wonderful town.

Special thanks to our local attendees: Chamber Chairman Paul Todd, Whiteville Mayor Terry Mann, Columbus County Commissioners Chair Brent Watts, Former City Manager Darren Currie, Former Columbus County Economic Development Director Dr. Gary Lanier, City Manager of Whiteville Sean Martin, NC Southeast Economic Development President Steve Yost, Columbus County Economic Development Commission Director Dylan Bowen, and Columbus County Chamber President Joan McPhearson.

After the festivities, several Provalus employees took part in our "Provide Day" event, volunteering at the Boys and Girls Home of Lake Waccamaw. They painted the front porch, pressure-washed the walkways, and steam-cleaned carpets to prepare for the summer season.

We look forward to this next chapter of growth, partnership, and impact in North Carolina!

The annual Provalus Taco Tuesday was a hit! 🌮 Across every Provalus site, our teams brought their most creative taco creations to the table, turning the day into a fun competition filled with food and community.

Special shout-outs to the City of Brewton Fire Department and the City of Manning Police Department - South Carolina for stopping by their local Provalus facilities as judges in the competition.

Congrats to the winners, we can't wait to see what you cook up next!

Meet Seth Short, one of our amazing Service Desk Analysts and veterans here at Provalus. Interested in furthering his career in IT, Seth joined the Provalus team after falling in love with the mission and positive culture. Never having seen this kind of atmosphere at previous organizations, Seth sought to contribute to our growing culture himself. He started a company-wide Teams chat titled "SS Positivity" for employees to share daily affirmations and uplifting words—over 100 Provalus team members are active in the chat! Seth regularly volunteers in the community and appreciates our push to make positive change in rural communities.

This year, a few of our sites added a bake-off to their Spring Social! Team members shared their best baked treats, and everyone voted for their favorites. From delicious cakes to cookies to tarts, the homemade creations were as sweet as the camaraderie among our teams!

This year's Murder Creek Mud Run was nothing short of unforgettable! Our team raced through more than 3 miles of muddy obstacles spanning over three of Brewton's beloved parks, all connected by Murder Creek.

Hosted by the city of Brewton, AL, this annual event is a highlight on our calendar every year. Watching team members, leadership, and even a handful of out-of-town team members stick together to get across the finish line is a reminder of the amazing camaraderie and culture here at Provalus.

Before the race, Executive Vice President Ryan Ruwe arrived with a t-shirt gun, launching Provalus-branded t-shirts into the crowd.

We're pumped for next year's run already!
