We had a great time working with the team at Made in NYC Week again this year!

We gave their website a small but mighty UX upgrade—no more endless scrolling to find events. Now there’s a clean filter system to help you get where you want faster. We also picked this year’s color palette and designed posters, brochures, and social media templates.

If you haven’t checked out Made in NYC Week before, it’s a celebration of the city’s amazing makers and businesses—and it kicks off this Thursday! Learn more

We’re pleased to share that American Design Language has been featured in DesignRush for our work on VUND’s branding and packaging design! 🎉

This project was all about creating a bold, modern identity that reflects VUND’s energy and innovation.

“Vund is a brand focused on sustainability, offering eco-friendly home goods, including hand-poured beeswax candles. ADL Studio’s design for Vund’s packaging communicates these values by blending modern elegance with environmental responsibility, presenting the brand as both luxurious and eco-conscious.

The packaging design is minimalist, which perfectly reflects the brand’s commitment to sustainability. The candle label design’s use of matte black with gold accents gives the products a high-end, refined feel while keeping the environmental message front and center. The simple, clean lines and sparse use of text enhance the overall elegance.” - Rafi Lim

Congratulations to Kingston Social on the grand opening of their stunning café, gallery, and mercantile! If you find yourself in Kingston this summer, be sure to visit.

Working on their logo and branding was a pleasure. It’s great to see how they have brought the storefront to life and how they are rolling out the brand.

For their logo, we designed a unique ligature connecting the K to the S, creating a cohesive and versatile KS monogram. This monogram not only enhances the logo but also serves as a stylish shorthand representation of the brand.

It was a pleasure collaborating with the team on their inaugural Taste of Made in NYC event. It was the perfect opportunity to use our experience working in design for the food industry and bringing it to the work we do with local mission-driven nonprofits.

We conceptualized the graphics for the event including illustrations for tote bags, t-shirts, marketing, and signage materials.

We wanted to create a fun visual to represent different foods made in NYC, so the graphic features some of our favorites which include PICKLED 🥒in NYC and SMOKED🔥in NYC. I was super excited to see 🐟 at the event with their lox in a box! 📦 I had no idea this product existed, and now there is no turning back. Other MADE IN NYC food discoveries included hand crafted chocolate bars by Noé No Omise 🍫 , and 🍩 doughnuts by .

So many delicious tastes and sips were had. So many talented NYC makers and vendors. We had a great time. Thank you to Made in NYC for hosting such a great event and supporting local makers.

Proud to celebrate Season 2 for our nonprofit client, Let’s Talk Menopause’s Hello Menopause Podcast! This season is packed with well known doctors and inspiring women sharing invaluable insights on menopause.

We loved collaborating on the brand rollout for Season 2, featuring enhancements to the Season 1 brand that make it pop among a sea of podcasts. Check out the latest episode with Naomi Watts or start from the beginning of season 2 with Dr. Mary Claire Haver (loved that one)

I’m always a fan of larger than life visuals, when the opportunity arises.

I loved being part of the hands that made the exhibition for the Brooklyn Navy Yard’s current exhibition in Building 92, In Motion.

ADL created the branding for In Motion and the graphic panels & vinyls that lead visitors around the exhibition.

More on the exhibition picked up from the Brooklyn Navy Yard site:
Featuring more than forty photographs taken by Yard-based photographer JC Cancedda, IN MOTION calls attention to the importance of handcraftsmanship to manufacturing, design, and industrial production. Moving throughout the gallery, visitors are invited to take a moment to appreciate the intentional, focused, and highly skilled work unfolding in the photographs and to consider how ideas flow through the hand in ways that marry artistry and craftsmanship.

Taken between May and December 2023, the photographs provide a small snapshot of the 11,000+ workers that call the Brooklyn Navy Yard home. The photographs represent the diversity of industries at the Yard as well as helping to reveal some of the materials, tools, and machines that drive contemporary industrial innovation.

Happy Veterans Day! I had one grandfather in the Navy and one in the Army, thank you for your bravery and service.

We designed this hat which was inspired by the 22,500 pound anchor displayed in the lobby of Building 92 at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. The anchor is from the amphibious assault ship Austin which launched from Brooklyn in 1964.

On the last day of Menopause Awareness Month 2023, I want to congratulate my clients, , and share the work I did with them this past month and have been working towards over the past three years to raise awareness about menopause.

My clients are making waves with recognition from Oprah Daily, various news outlets, and well-known menopause advocates, as well as a growing following on social media.

This year, we created a campaign that focused on how women deserve better, with the “WE DESERVE BETTER” concept. Better sleep, better moods, better laughs, better health, and better s*x.

This campaign was visible in NYC’s Times Square on the BIRD billboard, measuring 46 feet x 62 feet, as well as in Minneapolis on the highway and at the airport, and it reached audiences all over the world via social media.

I am incredibly proud of the founders, and , and I am excited to see what the next year brings.

For those of you who do not know, I worked on their initial brand launch including branding, website and ongoing marketing support.

Repost from a happy client! ❤️😊

Introducing our wonderful new logo by ADL Studio’s Stacey Geller ... we love the combination of a vintage vibe with something modern. Can you say serif / sans serif?? We can’t wait to share with you our vision for the CAFÉ | MERCANTILE | GALLERY space that we will be building out this winter at 237 Fair Street in Uptown Kingston. We are planning to open Memorial Day Weekend 2024, so stay tuned and watch our progress on the ‘gram!
