GOD IS MERCIFUL! PRAISE HIM!
I loved creating and working with pastel paints. Rembrandt soft pastels to be specific. I would have pastel dust everywhere; in my hair, my eyes, and up my nose. I loved using my bare fingers to rub and shape those colors until they came alive on canvass, bursting color and texture! I was diagnosed with COPD, a respiratory disease brought on by smoking (in my younger years), and inhaling so much pastel dust. I went to acrylics, although beautiful, I still had a hard time breathing. I turned to oil a beautiful medium, but very expensive and the chemicals were detrimental to my health. I thought I was done. My love, my passion was gone away from my life. But as I said in the start of this intro; GOD IS MERCIFUL! I already liked working on the computer, then God helped me master a few art programs and Voila! It's painting without smells, without mess to clean, and without harm. I can mix colors, choose brushes and sizes, all safely! All praise to God. I am so inspired and excited to do more digital paintings. peaceandlove💛💜
