✨ Website Redesign Showcase ✨

One of my recent projects was a complete redesign of the Livingston County Land Bank website—a site I originally designed and launched back in 2017.

Nearly nine years later, I had the opportunity to revisit the project and create a more modern, engaging, and user-friendly experience while applying everything I've learned since the original launch.

The redesigned website serves as a central resource for community members, contractors, and stakeholders by providing easy access to meeting agendas and minutes, resolutions, bid opportunities, available properties, redevelopment programs, news, and more. The site supports the Land Bank's mission of returning vacant, abandoned, and underutilized properties to productive use throughout Livingston County.

Key improvements include:

✅ Modern, refreshed design
✅ Improved navigation and user experience
✅ Enhanced mobile responsiveness
✅ Dynamic content management using WordPress and Elementor
✅ Better organization of public documents and resources
✅ Expanded project and property showcases

One of the most rewarding parts of web design is revisiting a project years later and seeing how much both the website—and your own skills—have evolved.

Take a look at the redesigned website:

Thank you to the Livingston County Land Bank team for the opportunity to bring new life to this project.

The mission of the Livingston County Land Bank Corporation is to support community development and the local economy by facilitating the return of vacant, abandoned, underutilized, and tax-delinquent properties to productive use.

Reminder: my business phone number is 585-443-6692. This number can be called or texted for all business-related communication and I will respond when I have the time.

Any business calls or texts sent to my personal phone will not be returned.

Also, once again, contacting me at 11 PM or other late-night hours on my personal phone is not acceptable.

Lastly, just a reminder I no longer offer home service calls.

Thank you.

I’m excited to share the launch of my latest website design project!
I had the pleasure of working with the Town of Pavilion, NY to design and develop their brand-new municipal website—adding another great project to my growing municipal portfolio.

The goal was to create a modern, clean, and user-friendly experience that improves upon their previous site, making it easier for residents and visitors to find the information they need. The new design features a plum and beige color scheme, giving it a professional and welcoming look.

While a few links are still being finalized, the website is officially live and fully functional. Over the next few months, we’ll continue enhancing the site by incorporating real photos of the Town of Pavilion to replace some of the current placeholder landscape images.

The site has also been built to comply with New York State Open Government standards, ensuring transparency and accessibility for the community.

I’m proud to have been part of this project and look forward to continuing to support municipalities and organizations with modern, effective website solutions!

After a lot of thought, I’m making a few updates to how I offer my services moving forward.

One important change is that I will no longer be offering in-home service calls for computer work. All computer-related services will now be handled either remotely or through drop-off. This allows me to be more efficient, stay on schedule, and provide better overall service.

Additionally, pre-payment will now be required for all computer services. This helps ensure that time is reserved appropriately and allows me to continue operating smoothly and fairly for all clients.

Over time, I’ve found that many requests have gone beyond the scope of what I typically offer. Going forward, I’ll be focusing on the services I specialize in and working with clients who value and respect that focus.

I truly appreciate all of the support over the years, and I look forward to continuing to help with your computer and website needs in a more streamlined and professional way. Thank you for your understanding!

Just a quick reminder that there needs to be a boundary between business hours and personal downtime. Calling me at 9:30 PM regarding websites or other business matters is not appropriate. I’m always happy to help during normal business hours and appreciate everyone’s understanding.

❗️IMPORTANT ❗️📣 Friendly Service Update

Hi everyone! I hope you’re all doing well. I wanted to take a moment to clarify my services and how appointments work, just to help avoid any confusion going forward.

🚗 About Home Service Calls
There is a flat fee for ANY home visit, plus an hourly rate for the work completed. This applies to every house call, even if the task seems very small.

Lately, I’ve had quite a few requests for very minor things like installing printer ink, connecting a printer or Roku to Wi-Fi or many other very basic setup tasks. I completely understand that technology can be frustrating — we’ve all been there! But these are the types of jobs that only take a few minutes and don’t require a full house visit. I will begin being selective on home service calls from here on out.

Because my schedule is limited, I really need to reserve home appointments for larger or more involved issues. I don’t want anyone paying a service fee for something I know they could handle quickly or that isn’t worth the cost of a house call. I can’t justify charging what I would need to charge to make these small tasks worthwhile for my time and compensation.

I’ll be pausing home service calls for the remainder of 2025 while I update my pricing and offerings for 2026. This will allow me to better match my time and travel with the services that need it most.

During this time, I will continue receiving any computer repairs that are dropped off to me to work on in my own home office as well as any website design projects.

To gain a better understanding of what services I do offer, you can view my website www.sethgrahamdesign.com. Checking there first really helps make sure we’re on the same page before scheduling.

❌ Services I Do NOT Provide

Just so there’s no confusion, here are a few things I do NOT offer:

• Contacting companies to cancel services or get refunds/lower monthly bills
• Listing items for sale on Facebook Marketplace
• Taking electronics, cables, or accessories for recycling
• Purchasing equipment on behalf of customers. (This gets extremely messy especially when I’m just the “middle man” and an issue arises that should be directly handled with the retailer or manufacturer. I can’t be involved or liable for any issues that are out of my control so I won’t do this)
• Annual service plans: I work on a case by case basis and will not compete with retailers who offer unlimited service calls for a fixed annual rate. My pricing is my choice. There is a significant benefit to having someone you trust who is local to service your equipment or enter your home. That’s worth the price difference. If it’s not, I’d recommend utilizing a retailer that can accommodate your needs.
• Selling computers for people: I understand you may feel lost when it comes to the idea of selling a computer you no longer use, however, it causes liability issues especially if I help facilitate a sale and there is something wrong with the product.

If I personally refurbish and sell a computer, I can absolutely offer support or warranty options — but only in that case.

Thank You!

I truly appreciate everyone who reaches out to me — your support means a lot. Setting these boundaries helps me balance my full-time job with my business and ensures I can give each project the proper time and attention it deserves. This all must be respected for me to continue to offer these home service calls or I will be forced to no longer offer them.

Thank you for understanding and for helping me keep things running smoothly!

Check out my latest website design! This one is for McKay's Antiques. I’ve been helping out McKay’s Antiques over the past few weeks, starting with a page, some advertisement videos, an Instagram, and now their new website!

If you’ve ever been to the store, you know how much cool stuff they have!

When you get a chance, check out the site and flip through the photo gallery. And if you’re into local shops and unique treasures, give McKay’s a follow on social media — it really helps them out.

Thanks for taking a look!
