I am thrilled to announce that UX Architecture Studio and its partners—KP Design Studio and Epstein Joslin + Picardy Architects Inc—have been shortlisted for the Fred Rouse Center for Arts and Community Healing. Deeply moved by Transform 1012 N. Main Street - Fort Worth’s mission of restorative justice, our alliance of small practices is united in our conviction that Architecture is a political act. Reclaiming this former Ku Klux Klan auditorium and cultivating its new identity as a place of resilience and liberation will be an instigator for change that will extend far beyond the community.

Alongside my inspiring team, I am headed back home to for the Design Week residency to listen, learn, and explore a new vision for 1012 Main Street as a place of activism, empowerment, renewal, and reimagination. We can’t wait to take a deep dive into the project and meet the community it will serve.

Friends in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, I’d love to see you at the Opening Celebration on Sunday, October 15.

Our Cambridge project is a finalist for the 2023 Awards for Design Excellence by ! And oh wow, are we in good company: after the jury received more than 1K international submissions, UX is 1 of only 3 finalists in + only 83 finalists across all categories.
UX had an amazing team: an inspiring client, resourceful PMs , and meticulous ex*****on by + . We are honored to receive this recognition for a project we love!

We are thrilled to have our project featured in the Boston Globe! We have been working diligently over the last 12+ months with an amazing and dedicated team from the City of Malden, the Metropolitan Area Planning Council, the BSA, Silverman Trykowski Associates, and local advocates in Malden. We’ve learned a lot about Malden and its thriving arts and cultural community, and we are proud to offer our vision for an arts and cultural center that Malden deserves! Link to story in bio
