Hi My name is Ella Kikkert and this is my official Facebook Graphic Design business page. Eventually, I was able to obtain a style I could call my own.

Biography:

As one of Marcus Whitman High School’s alumni, also known as “children of the corn” because of the schools rural setting, Ella’s interest in art peaked during senior year. After graduating from High School, she first attended Finger Lakes Community College where she received her Associate of Applied Science in Graphic Design. She then transferred to SUNY Oswego to complete the BFA prog

ram and took a minor in Art History. Her work has been shown at the SUNY Oswego 54th Annual Juried Student Exhibition, BFA Exhibition, and at FLCC Student Honors Art Exhibition in the Spring of 2015. Artist Statement:

Hi, I’m Ella Kikkert, and probably one of the only artists you'll come across who fell off from a corn cob to enlighten you about my pursuit in this field of art. Never in my wildest dreams did I find my work being created by the controls of a computer mouse. I've always had a traditional bone in my body until I was rattled up by the digital universe. By the beginning of 12th grade, I took my first step into the field of Graphic Design. After graduating from high school, I furthered my expertise by venturing to FLCC, where I continued to preserve my fine artistic funny bone and apply it throughout my digital work. Including the best of both worlds, I further developed an array of skills using different mediums in Fine Arts and Graphic Design. This was done by taking my subjects and breaking them down into bold basic geometric shapes giving off a graphic posterized essence. Had the privilege to redesign this logo for my cousin. Rapid serves as a Regional Pawn Data Sharing System for various law enforcements within Baltimore, Maryland.

Still very proud of this photo that I took last year. Just by using my iPhone and adjusting some basic photo filter settings it made it turned out to look more heavenly! 😊

Had the privilege to leave my mark at The Ontario County Fair in Canandaigua, NY by constructing a dairy barn sign called The Clover Creamery. This organization serve in association with the 4-H groups represented in this county.

Enter 25 pieces of work that did during my senior year at SUNY Oswego into the Ontario County Fair art exhibition...got both 1st place (blue ribbons) and 2nd place (red ribbons)!
